From start to finish, this was an outstanding dining experience. The restaurant strikes the perfect balance between warm hospitality and absolute professionalism. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly passionate about the food they serve.
Every dish we tried was a true celebration of fresh seafood. The fish was exceptionally fresh, cooked with precision, and beautifully presented. The flavors were clean, authentic, and enhanced rather than masked by the seasonings. Standout dishes included the grilled whole fish—perfectly tender and smoky—and the seafood pasta, which was rich yet delicately balanced. Even the starters and side dishes showed great attention to detail, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful combinations.
The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, ideal for both a casual meal and a special occasion. The décor reflects the spirit of the sea, and the setting makes you feel as though you’re on a coastal getaway.
Overall, this is one of the best fish restaurants I have ever visited. If you appreciate quality seafood, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance, this place is an absolute must. I will definitely be returning and recommending it wholeheartedly to...
Read moreWe visited the area for the Holy Spirit long weekend and chose this restaurant - fish tavern “Stou Grigori” based on the reviews we read on Google and its excellent location by the sea. However, our experience changed dramatically once we sat down and saw the menu. It is unacceptable for a seafood restaurant in front of the sea to serve frozen seafood, from squid and octopus to shrimp (six pieces as stated in the menu, priced at 15€). Furthermore, the staff’s behavior was mediocre at best, and disappointing at worst. The customers around us were only eating meat dishes. A piece of advice to the owners: Do not label your establishment as a fish tavern if you offer fish the most of them frozen, meat and traditional Greek food. As a result of the above we only buy the two posted photos with zucchini balls, fresh fried potatoes and a Greek salad and we...
Read moreWe were given a recommendation for this tavern so we came with high hopes of eating delicious food. Sadly our experience was not a positive one. The food was below average in taste. The calamari was pure rubber could not be eaten, the sardines were tasteless and at times it felt that you could taste sand. They baked potatoes could have been boiled a few extra minutes (even the stray cats did not want to eat them). The pastitsio was good not great. The only two dishes that were good were the potato salad and the tiropirakia in honey and sesame. The young girl who was our waitress was friendly and the prices...
