Fatolitis Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Kalymnos

We stayed at Fatolitis Studios for a whole month and even if it was low season, we had an amazing time. The property is located only minutes by foot away from Poets crag. Sevastos and Vaggelis, the owners, were very nice to us, even before we arrived. Sevastos emailed us and gave us a great deal so we can enjoy our travelling without worrying that we will spend every penny we have. We stayed in a nice studio with a double bed, a small kitchen area, a bathroom and a balcony. There is wifi and the view is great, so if you're not fussy this is all you need! Everyone is very friendly in Kalymnos and the fact that not many things are open in February is not too bad, because you can save money and also have the crag all for yourself. In one month I think we had about 8 days of rain altogether. There is also a pool and a restaurant there that are opened only when the warm season starts. My friend and I stayed at Fatolitis Studios for our climbing holiday. Great service, Sebastian took really good care of us, the boss Fatolitis was very friendly and telephoned our taxi driver (who they arranged for us to pick us up from the ferry port) when we got on to welcome us.

Overall a really friendly, accommodating family run business. Really enjoyed the freshly iced orange juice and the view by the pool.

They offered a laundry service where if you leave a bag of laundry by the door (and tell them about it beforehand) they will help you wash your laundry for you and hang them at the hanging racks at the balcony. They only ask that you tip them what you think is appropriate.

Had some noisy neighbours through no fault of the studio owners but overall had a great stay!

Excellent place to stay and in great location for all the climbing areas around. (You can walk to Grande Grotta in 20min I believe) After we had to leave another apartment due to it being terrible, we were welcomed with open arms in Fatolitis Studios! We stayed in a newly renovated small apartment but it has everything you need (hot shower, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, view of the sea and sunsets!, balcony/terrace). As we were there in low season the pool was not open yet but it looked fine to us! There is also a small beach just down below from the apartments.
