Souvlaki Square — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalymnos

I initially paid €18.50 for two pita gyros and a beer. I ordered one chicken (€4.50) and one pork (€4.00), so the beer should have cost €10 according to the total, which doesn’t make sense as the same beer usually costs around €4 elsewhere. When I asked the staff if there was a mistake, they told me they had accidentally charged me for two beers instead of one and refunded me €4. However, that still doesn't add up, cause if that were the case, I should have received €5 back, not €4.

I also wasn’t given a receipt at first. Overall, it felt like they were trying to take advantage of me, which is why I’m leaving 1 star. I won’t be...

The price/performance ratio of this restaurant is ridiculously good! We ordered a Ceasarsalad and a Kalymnian salad with goat cheese for lunch. Both were in perfect balance, very tasteful and of generous proportion. Three days later we visited again - for dinner - and chose the Dorade and watermelon/feta salad. Both surprisingly good again. We didn't get a chance to eat here before it closed for the season, however we were staying next door during our stay and regularly said hello to the owner. Petrulla and her daughter came over before Christmas with homemade baklava they had made! It was very unexpected and so delicious!!! If their food tastes as good as their baklava, I'm sure you'll be in for a treat! I will definitely check it out if I'm back in Kalymnos....
