Horizonte Seafront Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Kissamos

Self catering style modern functional units directly at the beach with beautiful views.

We stayed at a split unit (I.e with neighbors). The units are across a road from approximately 10 m of pebble beach. You can park just in front of suites (free). Beautiful view on the bay, the beach is almost private, the suites come with sun beds and umbrellas you can take just across to the beach. It is about 10min drive to Kissamos, but there are 2 Tavernas close by, one belonging to the nearby camp ground. They actually serve very decent food, certainly worth checking out.

The unit itself has a living room/ kitchen area, a terrace, decent sized modern equipped bathroom and bedroom. There is quite a bit of closet space available. The airco works well. WiFi was ok too.

The only slight complaint is that the coffee for the illy nespresso style machine was not very good, at least they did not refill the capsules. There is also no cleaning/housekeeping. It feels more like an air b&b in that sense. We just bought breakfast in the supermarket the day before and then enjoyed it on the terrace. For coffee you do have to go elsewhere, but possibly we just had a bad batch. In the evening when sitting outside there were quite some mosquitoes, keep bug repellent ready.

Incredible apartment; it captures both a picturesque mountain and sea view. A beach so close and quiet it is essentially private - made all the more perfect by the constant waves relaxing you into the deepest most satisfying sleep. The host and his family are exceptional, everything you would need is fully equipped and high quality including loungers and umbrellas for the beach. Horizonte seafront suites was an excellent choice for our vacation in Crete. The accommodation is made with much love and this is more than obvious. Quality materials, relaxing decoration, COCO-MAT sleeping products(!), peaceful spot, beautiful view front and back. All this just 10 meters from the sea! What else do you need for your vacation? The best beaches of Crete are very close and chania city just 30'. Definitely return back at this...
