Gathering from other reviews, I'm not the only one with such an experience. I have booked a room with balcony and sea view for a week. As my flight arrival was late at night, I've also booked airport transfer and provided the arrival details. This was confirmed by Jonathan Studio Apartments. Upon my arrival, no one was there. No reply to my phone calls nor my SMS. I waited around for a while and eventually decided to take a cab as midnight was nearing. When I arrived at the hotel, a caretaker was waiting for me to let me know that there was no room for that night and I would have to stay at next door MIROS Apartments. The following day, I went over to Jonathans to see about my room. I was given a sub-terrain room with a patio looking into the footpath!!! I told them, there was only the caretaker and roommaid present, that this is A FAR CRY from what I've booked, a room with balcony and sea view. Speaking with the manager or owner over the phone, he suggested I could move to an upper room with balcony and sea view 3 days later. This I could not accept and suggested that since Jonathan Studio Apartments messed up big time, I remain at MIROS instead. Eventually we agreed, that I would stay the next 3 days at MIROS and then move over to a room as booked and confirmed by Jonathans. After 3 days Jonathan's staff came over and asked if I'm happy and like it at Miros. Truth to be told, I was happy to be at MIROS Apartments. The owners and staff are lovely people, the layout of pool and grounds beautiful and well taken care of and I had a room with balcony, sea view and a breathtaking sunrise. I couldn't have asked for more! Eventually I did stay for the entire time at Miros and didn't move to Jonathan Studio Apartments. Next time I'm in Kos, I definitely stay at MIROS Apartments. Forget about Jonathan...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed at the Jonathan Appartments, 6th to 13th July 2025. We thoughly enjoyed our stay here and Tingaki, and we lucky enough we are coming back on the 30th August for a week again. Unfortnately these appartments we full, however we are stopping near here Irina Beach Hotel, a little further out but will pop in and see the staff who ran these appartments. Lovely peopl and made us feel welcome. Rooms we kept clean and very spacious. I king Size Bed and a single, which was quite big. Towels and bedding change regualy and the shower was lovel and hot. Very quiet around the pool area and no music blasting out, so it was nice to read. Pool area, plenty of sun lounges , as the beach was straight over the road. There was bus stop outside the appartments which was handy. The negative point we had to make the bus time table outside the Jonathan Appartments was incorrect. for Example timetable would say 6:30pm when it would turn up at 7:30pm. Beware of this if you wanting to go to Kos Town etc. Also having to keep crossing the road as the bus turns round and you seem to be running backwards and forwards. We met some really nice people. Also if you are on a late flight. When you leave your room at 12 midday, there are no facilities to change re shower. There is a toilet. We were fortunate as a couple from Sheffield, allowed us to use there shower. Thank you. Overall it was a fab holiday, nice food, nice people. Great Trips. Looking forward to our return end of Aug. Happy Holidays :) Definitely would stay again in the...
Read moreArrived at the apartments around 3 am to find a welcome message and instructions on how to find the room. The key was already in the door. The rooms come equipped with a safe, the key is on your room key, and remote-controlled air-conditioning, both of these are free to use. I loved the simple amenities, kettle, microwave toaster, and a 2 ring hob that I didn't need. The bed was massive and firm but not uncomfortable to sleep in. The rooms have 2 exterior doors, one patio style glass door, and a lockable metal shutter door. This one has small slats to allow air in but not mosquitos. |Outside you'll find 2 chairs and a table and clothes airer |I make a habit of eating breakfast in the apartments dining area and enjoyed the breakfasts both the full English and the continental. The lunches they serve are good if you want to stay out by the pool|The rooms are cleaned daily 6 days a week except on Sunday. ||The pool is cool and really nice to swim in after you've spent all day in the sun. Having the beach across the road gives you the best of both, but it's quite rocky underfoot, so wear water shoes, or you'll scrape your feet||The apartments are away from the main town and it's a double-edged sword as, on one hand, it's quiet, but it lacks being closer to the restaurants and bars as it's a decent walk from the centre||Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, I felt welcomed and found Minas and Katerina to be welcoming and...
