Esperos Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Do not miss this address if you come to Tigaki. We came to this restaurant after getting an advice from a local of Kos, we were looking at menu when one of the workers came to us and asked if there was a special dish we were looking for and he immediately convinced us to have a seat with his sympathy. When they understood that we were Turkish they tried their best to talk to us in Turkish which is touching! They were fun and we felt like they were friends of us which is very nice, the food was fresh and the products were local, they tried to explain us everything about the products they used which happens not really often, the dishes was plentiful we even struggled to finish even though we’re big eaters! Honorable mention to the cake made by the owner’s mom which was incredibly delicious which was offered, I really felt like home. We really love Greek music and we asked for some and they immediately did it!! They were attentive to every little details, after eating there we felt like every special places are so underrated and we really hope that people will see how this place is great especially because of the service and the workers, we had an amazing time there. It was the best restaurant we headed in in Tigaki, thank you again...

We ordered a meal each .. the staff were very accommodating. The food was very salty and we are about half only because we had Taziki. We told the waiter who brought the owner. He tried my food and agreed it was too salty. We were prepared to still pay we just wanted them to know. He said it was assistant chef that made the mistake who put too much salt in the food and would take off the menu. He said he would take it off the bill also and gave us a free drink. Couple on the other table said it was salty as they had the same but liked it like that. The waiter came with our bill and said we were to pay for it all except the last drinks he became very angry and said we sit it all . The owner accused me putting salt on my food. He lied about it all. We didn't pay for all of the bill but more than we should. I wasn't going to hang around being accused of something. I am disgusted with how it was handled and they...

Amazing, the staff, friendly and welcoming, wide choice of menu, But I had in my mind I wanted huge prawns with garlic, the waiter called someone over who sat with me and asked what I wanted and what was prepared and delivered did not disappoint, for starters we had hummus and meatballs, both were delightful, the meatballs so tasty with bbq dip and not greasy at all , the hummus so fresh. Main courses gyros, huges portion of meat fresh salad and greek bread, my daughter had chicken I didn't catch what it was but she said it was lovely especially the carrot puree, other daughter greek salad, my grandaughters a mountain of fish fingers and chips, mine was huge prawns in garlic and rich tomato sauce, it was amazing, so tasty, served with the freshest Greek salad. Hopefully, we will go there again before we go home. I highly recommend the cocktails...
