Vasilis Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Well our worst experience in entire KOS.

Rude , unfriendly and impolite staff.

So we walk into the restaurant and ask one of the guys serving is it still too late to order and he replies no and we said we would like a pizza to take away. He said no problem.

We proceed to take a seat and then another old guy comes up to take out order, we explain we have already placed our order, he rolls his eyes and asks us what have we ordered we said Pizza to take away. He replied sorry no pizza to take away. His behaviour was extremely rude and unpleasent. And as we were leaving the restaurant we could see the cook putting pizza in the oven.

Ok here is the deal, the locals don't owe us anything neither do we owe them anything. It's just business, we are tourists and they are providing service. So don't be rude to your customers just because you know the crowd is a moving crowd and tomorrow there will be new people on whom you can piss on.

Don't lie about availability and unavailability of items in your menu. And treat your customers well.

2nd review for another year.......highly recommend anyone who comes to kos to get over to vasilis and have a lovely lunch or dinner. it's absolutely amazing with some brilliant staff, from start to finish they are so kind and always welcoming as if you are family. thank you appreciated. Best steaks in the world here. I always look forward every year to come back and have the steak. Thanks stu and emma

1st review....Wow what can I say. The best veal I have ever had and had it cooked medium but swapped potatoes to rice absolutely amazing. Also we had dinner there the other day and the pizza was so fresh and amazing. The staff and owner is great and zia is such a lovely lady recently moved to this restaurant from scala. Highly recommended. The veal is alot bigger than the photo lol a good 1 inch thick by about 6 to 7...

Too busy for the staff to cope with basically . When we arrived it was very quiet and got served drinks fairly quickly . Within 15 mins (7:15pm) it was busy with probably all but 2 tables used . Only 3 staff serving food out front and about 30 tables to deal with . Food was ok , but the wait for it was poor . Due to the pizza orders being busy we were told that some puddings were not available for a long time !! And some lines had run out . We had already waited 40 mins for food so we asked for bill . Another 25 before we got it . Overall a good experience spoiled by lack of service . Food was ok but I would not recommend to eat there if it is slightly busy and you need to be somewhere...
