Fantastic stay at Savvas Studio’s over the past 2 weeks with my wife and 3 young kids in the family room.|On our arrival Chrysoula was there to welcome us without the stuffiness you sometimes get at hotel check in. Chrysoula showed us to our room, let us know what we needed to know then left us to it which was very much appreciated. The location is right on the beach but we tended to use the pools at the Chrysoula hotel and the Dolphin Rock bar. Note the Chrysoula hotel pool is better for kids and the Dolphin Rock is a bit quieter perhaps better for adults. On the subject of pools, the pool next door to the Savvas at the Ionikos do not let under 12’s in their main pool so we never used this one.||We ate at several places in Kefalos including Savvas and we were happy with the food we ate there having traditional greek food which was home cooked.||The room was kept incredibly clean with endless amounts of bedding and towel changes, towels being left like little boats on the beds for our kids. A lot of this was down to Angela the maid who made us smile every morning and got our day off to a great start. Big hugs for Angela and thank you for all you have done during our stay we really appreciated this. Chrysoulsa and Angela have gone out of their way to ensure we have a comfortable last day allowing us to have showers etc as we wait for our evening flight tonight.||A big bonus for us in the room with our kids was the smart TV that allowed our kids to access our netflix account so they could watch a movie before they went to sleep.||One slight improvement opportunity perhaps would be to secure the safety deposit box to the wall.||Although our kids enjoyed themselves 14 days with 3 young kids seemed a bit long as Kefalos I would suggest is maybe not best for families as a resort but this is no fault of Savvas as they did everything possible to make our stay comfortable.||The Lido waterpark was a great day out and would recommend this.||Thanks once again to everyone at Savvas. Highly...
Read moreStayed for 3 weeks here in June, this is my second visit. You cannot fault the welcome you get. I arrived later than originally planned but Chrisoula and her family were still waiting for me with a welcome drink and assisted me with my luggage. The location is idyllic right on the beach, the safe and air conditioning are included in the price you pay for your apartment. The apartment I had looked out across the sea, so you woke to the birds singing, and brilliant sunshine. The apartments are kept very clean with towels and bedding regularly changed, bins are emptied on a daily basis. There is a restaurant on site and the food is fresh cooked by Chrisoula's mother, her son - Pavlos waits on the tables, and although you do have to wait for your meal it is worth the wait. They have a number of sun loungers on the beach, these are serviced by Chrisoula's daughter - Sevi and sit right next to the waters edge. Chrisoula's dad -|| Savvas provided me with some fresh tomatoes and eggs from his local farm during my stay. There is a supermarket at the top of the road which has everything you could possibly need. What more could you want - a fantastic welcome, good home made reasonable priced food on site, clean well kept apartments, sun loungers at the waters edge - it cannot be beaten. I will be back again in the very near future. My thanks to Chrisoula and all her family for a...
Read moreAnother fabulous holiday with Chrisoula and her family at Savvas Studios, 15 nights of beautiful weather, company and food. This is my third stay with the family and once again the welcome you receive is amazing, they could not be more welcoming! Chrisoula has been busy over the winter making changes and upgrading her wonderful apartments, the one I used had a beautiful new bathroom with an amazing rain forest type shower. There is always hot water and after a day at the nearby beach it was lovely to step into. Once again Mama is cooking up wonderful tasty dishes, I had to ask Pavlos for a small portion each evening as the plate was overflowing and even then the portions were huge. There are still the sunbeds on the beach which is a stones throw away from the apartments. The bus into Kos town or other parts of the island is at the top of the road, as is a car hire place and supermarket. I made a decision to book again for next year whilst I was there as I don't want to miss out by waiting and then there is no availability. So once again thank you so much Chrisoula, Mama, Savvas, Pavlos and Sevi for an amazing holiday and I'll see you in...
