I recently had the pleasure of staying at Poseidon Apartments & Villas by the Sea, and I can confidently say it was one of the most unforgettable experiences I've ever had. Nestled in the heart of Greece's stunning coastline, the villas offers an unparalleled combination of luxury, comfort, and breathtaking natural beauty.
That's what we call Greek Hospitality by Mrs Kalliopi and her husband that put so much love and care to their dream - "Poseidon Apartments and Villas By the Sea".
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service by Mr Kostas.
The villa itself is an architectural marvel, seamlessly blending modern design with traditional Greek elements. Every detail, from the meticulously curated decor to the high-end amenities, exudes elegance and sophistication. The spacious rooms are bathed in natural light, offering spectacular views of the Aegean Sea, which made waking up each morning feel like a dream.
The outdoor spaces are just as impressive, with beautifully landscaped gardens, a private beach, and multiple lounging areas that provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. We spent countless hours soaking in the sun, enjoying the serene atmosphere, and taking in the stunning views of the Temple of Poseidon in the distance. Exploring the nearby beaches and quaint villages was a delight, adding to the overall charm of our stay.
What truly sets Poseidon Apartments & Villas by the Sea apart, however, is the personalized service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were incredibly attentive, always available to assist with anything we needed or simply providing a warm smile and friendly conversation.
Mrs. Marina and Mr. Kostas at the reception. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect making us feel right at home. Their local knowledge and impeccable service made our visit even more special, as they were always available to assist with anything we needed, from organizing private excursions to suggesting hidden gems in the area.
The rooms were prepared to perfection by the wonderful Mrs. Kyriaki. Her attention to detail was evident in every corner—each room was immaculately clean and beautifully arranged, creating an atmosphere of pure comfort and luxury.
We were also treated to some of the most delicious meals. Dining at the villa's restaurant was a true highlight, with each dish crafted with love and showcasing the rich flavors of the region. Whether it was a hearty breakfast to start the day or a delightful dinner under the stars. Mrs. Kyriaki was preparing delicious plates with produce that come from the garden that Mrs Kalliopi's husband created and care.
In summary, Poseidon Apartments & Villas by the Sea is a slice of paradise that I can't recommend highly enough. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or simply a peaceful retreat, this villa offers everything you could possibly want and more. I left feeling completely refreshed and can't...
Read moreWe arrived to paradise, from Athens with our two boys and our rental car. We were greeted by the owner, Dennis. He was glowing with authentic joy and happiness as he walked over to us and introduced himself. The villa that we lodged in, was just amazing. Roomy, clean, full functional and from the porch, the most WONDERFUL view of the old Greek port of Souniou and the Temple perched on top of the costal hill. The beds were absolute comfortable and the villa beach is basically at the door step. ||||When we were there, they were doing some work on the property, but did not bother us at all. One could see, that this Villa was being done with love and from the heart. If one needed to buy some foods or such, there are small towns not far away where you can purchase what is needed.||||The sunrise and sunsets were fabulous. The breakfast was very tasty, fresh and plentiful. They even had childrens cereals for the kids, which brought a smile to their faces. ||||One could see the love that was put into the Posdidon Beach Villas. Dennis was so kind as to take us on a small tour of the absolute amazing villas on his property. One realized his love for King Arthur and the villas were truely made for the court of Kings and Queens! ||||It was breath-taking, not only the lovely work and detail, but the absolute kindness of our host, Dennis. A true Gentleman, knowledgable in many subjects and of course, in local history. I had an enjoyable time, in conversation with him.||||One morning, we set off for a hike...and that hike lasted all day. We even found some hidden coves, where one can just be themselves, in the sun and enjoy the water and warmth of the sun||||The staffing of the villa are most kind. It is a villa, whereas romantic couples, as well as families can enjoy their hard-earned vacation, and let their minds wonder in the beauty of this most historic and fulfilling location. There are so many pictures already. If I find some that might be different, I will upload them. The surrounding view is just a spectacular ...just as amazing, as one can see on the visitors reviews.||||For sure, when we go back to Greece, we will be going back to visit Dennis and his wonderful villa, and that is 100%. If you have any questions, just ask.||||In closing, our family says to you, Dennis and the Poseidon Beach Villas: Thank you for the great time and...
Read moreLet me start by sharing the positive. The view is very nice but know that you cannot see the Temple of Poseidon from most angles. The other positive was that we thankfully only stayed one night.||Now for the negative - the property is VERY RUN DOWN. |1) The stairs to our unit (110) were broken, uneven and crooked. My elderly mother came with us and she had a very difficult time traversing the steps, especially with the lack of railings. |2) Our unit was listed as a 3 bedroom. One bedroom had no windows or air conditioning and was therefore very hot, and very outdated. The other "bedroom" was a small nook in the corner of the living room with a bunkbed and no door or outlets.|3) The bathrooms were very tiny, and very unkempt, with showers looking like they hadn't been cleaned on the bottom. The bathroom attatched to one of the bedrooms was more outdated than the other, and very dark. Neither bathroom had windows.|4) We charged our phones and when we removed the plug the wall outlet came out along with the wire behind it! |5)Door handles were falling off as we used them.|6) The pool was an Intex Pool (an aboveground, temporary pool).|7) The location is not the best for activities like shopping or exploring, as there is nothing close by. If you don't have a car you are trapped. |7) The menu at the resturaunt on site was very limited, and pricey. We ordered very minimally (3 items to share) and it was roughly 77 euro.||It was absolutely not worth the money! In hindsight, I would rather spend more money to go the Grecotel Sunio or stay somewhere else in the Athens area and travel back and forth to see the Temple...
