0 out of 5 stars Rudest service/waiters I've ever experienced in more than 60 countries! We waited 45 minutes for an outside table for 2. Two small tables opened up at the same time and we, being 1st in line, were given the only table in the back area with no view and no protection from the impending rain. The couple behind us were given the better table, undercover and with an unobstructed view of the water and Temple of Poseidan. We had to wait another 15 minutes for someone to throw a basket of bread on the table and yet another 15 for someone to take our order. Everything on the menu I asked for the waiter curtly advised was unavailable. I also noted that it was starting to rain, to which he said, "Lady, you want this table or not? It's very busy." There were about 6 waiters covering the area and they were all unimaginably unpleasant and abrupt. We then left without eating, because we didn’t want to continue to be subjected to such disrespectful behavior. Note that Ilias/Elios was the only negative restaurant experience during our 3 weeks of travel throughout Greece, so it can't be attributed to generic cultural...

Would not recommend or visit again. Here's why:
After a full meal with drinks, the owner came to our table as soon as I went to the loo and very rudely asked my partner to vacate the table. The owner then came to the loo to check on me, while he refused to serve my partner a cup of coffee, saying the machine is broken. Moments before the owners refusal, a waiter very kindly took the coffee order.
The owner kept asking us to vacate the table claiming the table was reserved, while upon arrival nobody let us knew about this, while the time we stayed there was less than one and half hour the owner insisted that we were "camping" on his table. To top it off, they tried to charge us €2 for a bottle of water of we never ordered/received.
Space around the tables was pretty dirty as there were tons of napkins flying in the sea, with no one responsible for picking them up. (see pictures)
Food was good but waiters were as rude as the owner.

Read moreOne of the worst experiences ever in Greece. I have noticed the level of rudeness but this, went over any levels of rudeness and respect for international customers.
I recently had what can only be described as a dreadful dining experience at Ilias. From the moment I walked in, things went downhill fast.
To start, the service was incredibly slow and inattentive. Despite the restaurant being only half-full, it took nearly 20 minutes just to get our drink orders taken. When we finally managed to flag down a server, they were rude and dismissive, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. We have waited for a few ice cubes over 30 minutes.
The food, when it eventually arrived, was an utter disappointment. The dishes were poorly prepared and tasted bland and uninspired. We have asked for something and have been served totally something else.
If you want to enjoy the beach around Poseidon Temple, avoid this place. Starbucks, in general has...
