Dreambox Mykonos Suites and Mini Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

At the time of our checkout, we raised these matters directly with the hotel manager, who acknowledged multiple failings and admitted that there had been significant negligence on the part of your staff. He further conceded that the hotel had not made adequate efforts to accommodate us or uphold the standards that would be expected from a property of your standing particularly considering the documented evidence (both photographic and written) we provided.

To reiterate, the following issues were encountered during our stay:

Unacceptable Lack of Cleanliness Upon Arrival: The villa was in a deplorable condition upon check-in. The floors, bathrooms, and bedding were so unclean that we did not feel comfortable using the facilities. Despite immediately notifying your team, no prompt or effective action was taken. We were compelled to make repeated calls to reception before the villa was cleaned, and even then, the cleanliness remained well below an acceptable standard. We retain photographic and written documentation of the conditions.

Presence of Blood Stains in Bathrooms: Multiple bathrooms contained visible blood stains on the walls. This is not only highly unsanitary but also constitutes a serious health risk. We documented this thoroughly.

Health Hazard Due to Contaminated Bedding: I personally endured a distressing incident where I unknowingly slept on used chewing gum that had been left in the bedding. The gum became stuck to my body and proved extremely difficult to remove. Despite informing your staff, the bed linens were not changed for two days, which is unacceptable from both a hygiene and a customer care standpoint.

Discovery of Hazardous Waste in Cupboards: Upon checkout, we discovered that one of the cupboards contained used underwear with visible bloodstains, feces, and hair—an utterly revolting and wholly unacceptable discovery that further demonstrates a complete lack of proper housekeeping standards.

The total cost of our stay was €2,500, and under no circumstances can such a figure be justified given the appalling conditions we were subjected to. These failures are not only deeply concerning from a customer service perspective but also represent potential violations of local health, safety, and consumer protection...

Unfortunately, even if we had a short stay, this place didn’t meet my expectations, and considering the nice places we stayed in Mykonos before, it was quite disappointing.

We booked the Deluxe Double Room which is rather small and the furniture is not well organised.

The pool is quite large and has nice views over the bay, and it’s a great setting for some amazing Instagram pics. However the pool area was not clean at all. We understood that the pool / water might be unclean because of the rain from when we visited, but the adjacent area was not kept clean at all as it should. The coating of the pool is falling off.

The ammenities which are offered are of good quality so that’s a plus.

The cocktails are served in plastic glasses with plastic straws (!) which was disappointing and not environmentally conscious and they are even banned in the EU.

The breakfast is quite good as they have a large selection and it’s served on the terrace by the pool.

Some of the staff needs some extra training , as they are not friendly and attentive with the customers and are awkwardly smiling even when they are not supposed to 😕.

I asked before if they offer transportation services, and even if they said they do, in the end they booked the transfer with an external partner, which was more expensive than what they said in the email. Nevertheless the taxi driver was very punctual and friendly, si we we’re satisfied with that 😊

As a family of 8, from USA kids age ranging from 8 to 17, we rented 2 villas but would have been fine with 1. Upon our arrival, all the staff made sure we were comfortable and hurried to get our villas ready before the check in time. The resort is a little remote from the center of the action which makes it much more relaxing. You can easily find transportation to the center where shops and restaurants are and we had the same taxi our whole stay which was arranged by the resort. Although they were fully booked, the place was amazingly quiet and made us feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. With the villas, the breakfast was extra and there is no service to the villas except to transport suitcases. We had 2 bedrooms with huge beds and there were 2 single beds nested in the living room. 3 bedrooms, AC working very well, comfortable mattresses and pillows.Yes, the villas are a little walk in the street from the hotel but totally manageable( flat shoes recommended). We had our private pools although the kids enjoyed the resort pool. It was very quiet and more like a honeymoon atmosphere so the kids easily remained quiet.
