Just wanted to share my experience today at Bowl. I honestly fell in love when the original owners were running the place but they unfortunately sold it. This is about the staff though, I ordered from Wolt app as pick up and added a note we would Dine-in. I did this for three reasons:
To save time. I have work soon and want the food ready when we get there I did it with other restaurants and if they had a table, they wouldn’t mind at all. I have a 10 month old baby with me, and anyone who has experience with babies understand it’s not easy to entertain them while waiting
When we arrived there, they did not allow us to sit. They said we should have called if we wanted to sit and have our order ready when we arrive. But why didn’t they inform us as soon as they saw the note? I could have cancelled my order and do it their way.
I said please, I have a baby with me and you have so many free tables. And the guy still said it’s NOT possible. I could tell he was firm, so I said, is the order ready so we can go? He said yes.
It wasn’t. We waited there for over 10 minutes.
Kindly check the pictures below as proof that they had so many free tables and I added a note “DINE-IN” for them.
Dear Bowl Mykonos, I have no idea what was the purpose of your decision making.. money, rules, business, or just to be difficult? At the end of the day, let’s not forget to act like humans. My husband works as a sushi chef here in Mykonos, they never declined when a customer would like to sit whether they ordered through call or mobile app.
I didn’t care when your prices went crazy up. I didn’t care when the store was sold. But I will always care for how you treat your customers or other human beings.
I used to be a loyal customer and Bowl was a tradition for me and my family.. but...
Read moreHuge shoutout to the BOWL team for saving my day! I had an online presentation to run and my hotel's Wi-Fi decided to bail on me. Thanks to their super-fast Wi-Fi and the picture-perfect backdrop, I managed to pull off my session without a hitch.
Then we dived into a mind-blowing brunch. The waiter, a true pro, served us a specialty coffee that jolts your senses awake and a cold brew perfect for cooling off. We devoured an amazing avocado toast, topped with Greek feta and an egg cooked just right, soft in the center just as I like it.
But it doesn't stop there: we also tried a bowl with chocolate gluten-free granola and a killer Greek yogurt. Love seeing a place that appreciates local produce and combines it in such an international way, all in a setting filled with tropical plants that instantly makes you feel on vacation.
Oh, and another plus point: they help out the island's cats in winter, selling bowls of food for them. In the off-season, when there are fewer people on the island, they take care of the kitties.
I can safely say my experience at BOWL has been the best on the island so far. It's a perfect spot for anyone who's gluten-free or vegan, but really, it's a place that makes everyone happy. Can't...
Read moreBowl is perfect for people who wants to eat a healthy brunch or breakfast .BUT it’s super expensive. There’s a variety of options for vegans and vegetarians and the ingredients were fresh. I ordered the avocado toast(10€ for two slices of bread )with extra roasted tomatoes(+2,50€) and bacon on the side. It was very tasty but I wasn’t full after I ate that. I also was expecting the avocado sauce to have some flavor but it was just crashed avocado. I’d recommend to have some lemon juice to give it a nice flavor. It was a light brunch. I paid 45€ for two avocado toasts, a coffee and a water. With that amount of money I could eat at a restaurant. But it don’t regret that. The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming , and the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you have the money I’d totally recommend it but if you’re just a worker at the island like me Bowl it’s not the place for you. P.S they don’t make discount for island...
