This is a usually windy onshore spot during Meltemi times (summer), resulting in manifestation how mankind (greek and turkish) are treating their environment: a lot of trash washed on shore which is rarely cleaned up (if at all); a water treatment facility releases its result here; which is also a "recycling" dumping place nearby; parking is good and beach wont be crowded - good for sunbathing for free

If you like winds for sports this is a really good place, from airport to here you can be in less than 15minutes; does have everything you need nearby; and most importantly reliable winds; the only restaurant with sea views burned down...

The beach is located south of Megali Ammos and north of Ornos beach and at a distance of 2.5 km from Mykonos Town and a 5-minute walk from Ornos. It is a paradise for windsurfing lovers because there is a high intensity of wind with a constant direction and at the same time its shallow bottom favors the creation of waves, for endless jumping, waveriding and playing.
