My Aktis — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

The best service we ever had!

We (young couple 28 and 32) were on Mykonos for the very first time and booked the beautiful hotel MyAktis.

When we arrived at the hotel we were warmly welcomed by Eleni and Matilda and to our surprise we got a room upgrade! We got a large suite with (almost) our own large swimming pool and with a direct view of the sea. Thank you sooo much to Eleni and Matilda!

The suite was very clean and consisted of a hall, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room with kitchenette and a bedroom. From the bedroom we had a direct view to the pool and the sea.

In the room a bottle of wine and delicious finger food was waiting for us. We got our own WhatsApp group and could use the hotel service 24/7.

We really enjoyed using the WhatsApp group every day for: ordering breakfast for the following day (there are different menus) Restaurant reservations request Shuttle ordering recommendations and information etc.

Every morning at our desired time we were brought breakfast to our room. We were able to enjoy this outside by the pool with the sea view.

Normally we are "breakfast buffet" fans, but our breakfast menu was absolutely perfect. We ordered the "champagne breakfast" and it included: glass of sparkling wine, tea/coffee, very delicious scrambled eggs with avocado, Greek salmon, bread basket with different kinds of bread and croissant, jam, nougat cream, fruit plate and orange juice. It was the perfect start to the day.

Via MyAktis we got a quad bike available within 30 minutes on request. This was brought by Mr. Stelios (cooperation with MyAktis). One day costs 35€, we booked it for several days and therefore paid 30€/day.

Mr. Stelios is, just like Eleni and Matilda, very helpful and super friendly.

Even though we felt very, very safe in Mykonos at all times, we did indeed have a negative experience. On a public car park our petrol was stolen from our quad bike at night while we were having dinner.

Thanks to the 24h shuttle service of MyAktis we came back to the hotel late in the evening because we had to leave our quad bike.

Another incredible service was provided by the MyAktis Hotel + Mr. Stelios (Quad rental) the next morning, when our Quad suddenly appeared again on the hotel car park! Without us having planned it, MyAktis together with Mr. Stelios picked up our Quad from the public car park (20 minutes away), filled up with petrol and brought it to us - and no financial consideration was expected from us.

We felt very comfortable on Mykonos and especially in MyAktis, had a great, clean suite, delicious breakfast and the best service ever!

We definitely have some catching up to do!

I would have loved to love this hotel, really. I had chosen it myself for a nice getaway, seduced by the swanky looks it boasted on the website. However, when we visited, the only pleasure I got from it was a lesson in online marketing : how to feature your best side on the internet and avoid mentioning the problems that may waste your guests' time on the island.

The room we were given initially was next to the construction site (the hotel is not finished, there was no shared pool ready when we arrived too, disappointing given the pictures), I had the pleasure to have construction workers chat loudly and stare at me from 8am as I was having breakfast They moved us, quite nicely, to another room... where the jacuzzi wasn't working. They made it work after 2h, while we waited in our room. However, they didn't clean it, and we didn't use it at all for fear of catching some illness, given the color of the water. There was no shade at all on the balcony of the room, which was quite annoying for people who like to enjoy the outdoors without wanting to burn all day. We thought we'd enjoy the night on the balcony as we couldn't stay there during the day, but there were many insects, it may be specific to this beach and not this hotel, but we didn't encounter it in the other hotels we stayed in in Mykonos (see photo) Overall, things didn't look finished or clean, despite the fancy looks. Seems to be the case everywhere on Super Paradise, everything in construction! It's quite far from everything, but that's just Mykonos :) The welcome paper we had advertised a room service, which didn't exist. The only option by foot is the delicious but expensive Jackie O' Beach and its 9€ sparkling water. If you're in for a romantic weekend, avoid this hotel! It's good to party, when you're too tired to notice the many flaws that will make you regret to have paid a big sum for a big fraud!

The hotel staff compensated us roughly 30% of the stay's price, and I appreciate this gesture, but the truth needs to be told so that they don't have to do more discounts to disappointed travelers who won't find in this place what they're...

we stayed a total of 2 weeks at MyAktis and we did not want to leave! a super nice hotel at a very good location(15-20min from Airport) with an accessible beach area with soft sand for swimming. We stayed in two different rooms as we got upgraded the second week into a Villa. first room was a double bedroom with own access to the beach (walk down the cliff with already available steps and you can jump in the water and snorkel). the Villa was HUGE and spacey with good amenities. during Corona a number of things are limited for e.g. coffee machine in the room but the hotel staff brought us one which was properly cleaned. breakfast is served in the room and trust me, this is much better than a buffet option. portion is good and you decide to eat on the bed, at the Jacuzzi, by the pool or the beach. Hotel Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make your experience a one to remember and arrange what you would need . they have a whatsapp group and all your requests goes through whatsapp so contactless. we rented a car and used a parking at the property and drove one way 15minutes each day to town to eat and we tried the food at the hotel a number of times too, good quality and price ratio. Wifi was very good and there is a TV in the room or multiple TV's in the villa where you can watch international channels and connect your netflix. Shower was good. bed was very comfortable. cleaning was done every second day or on request, Pool and Jacuzzi were cleaned every day. in total, a great Corona procedure in place which was followed by all staff. on the downpart for us (maybe a good part for others) some rooms are close to Jackie O beach club next door who plays music and party from 12:00 to midnight so if you are an early nighter, get a room away from Jackie O or change your habits and go join...
