We choose this hotel for its excellent reviews and nice pictures. What a disappointment! We choose a "Junior Suite" to have a nice room for the first 2 nights (out of 5). However, when we arrived, we realized it was more a basement than a suite. No sea view, barely any window: way worse than any simple double room. How can you call this a Suite? There were supposed to be a "patio", but it was actually just the path where everyone could walk, with a mini table, in front of a wall. As we had this room for our first 2 nights, we asked to get reimbursed for those 2 nights (and choose an other hotel before coming back). The manager didn't agree and just offer us the second-night reimbursement (for them to re-rent it). We came back 2 says later in much nicer rooms, with a see view. It was better but much lower quality compared to other same-priced hotels in Mykonos. The honeymoon suite has a big terrace but no deckchair to enjoy the sun privately, the hot tub is in plastic, the room isn't that big. The swimming pool of the hotel is really small, there are a lot of people around the pool, so it's not intimate at all and it feels really packed. The staff does it best to be very nice but they can be a little oppressive, they are always behind you, asking every 2 minutes if everything is OK. The transportation to the airport is 50% more expensive than a normal taxi. The concierge has no particular connection on the island, so it's the same if you contact directly the places. We asked to rent an ATV, by the time he came back to us, we had found a solution 2x as faster than him at a cheaper price. The only thing that is really great is the very nice breakfast menu - but not worth the overall experience! They are so many amazing hotels in Mykonos, for the same price, with outstanding experiences - take the time to...
Read moreWe had a truly incredible experience at Mykonos Princess Hotel. The pool was amazing and the daybeds were great to lay out at. The drivers made it for us - so friendly, great recommendations and were constantly available (all we had to do was WhatsApp the front desk and they'd set it up for us!). The front desk also (via WhatsApp!) helped get us setup with an ATV - they called the company and had it delivered for us! When we left, we just handed the front desk the keys - so convenient! The breakfasts here were DELICIOUS. Avocado Toast with poaches eggs and the healthy bowl were my favorites. The rooms were clean with great views, a quick 10 minutes to Mykonos Town. We preferred to ATV out and try the other beaches - probably better than the one near the hotel. Also, expect to pay a lot for transportation - 20 euros to go 5-10 minutes away, 40 to go to the clubs/restaurants 20 minutes away. One slightly annoying thing was all the transportation had to be in cash. Last slightly annoying thing - we stayed closest to the breakfast area, and it was loud each morning with little sound-proofing in the room. Both with the setup of the tables/chairs but also woke up to the staff each morning - we didn't mind it, but probably better to stay further from the kitchen/dining! The staff was incredibly nice to us, so warm and welcoming. We were offered a sweet note and room decor for our honeymoon which was a great touch. They provided a beach bag, beach towels, etc. for our stay to use! Loved the robe and slippers. Overall, really amazing experience. I would prefer a different location next time around, however the amenities and staff experience made it excellent - 5...
Read moreOne of the best hotel experiences my girlfriend and have had anymore (including very expensive hotels). From top to bottom, the staff are absolutely incredible! Not only do they get to know you personally but also make you feel welcomed in a way I have never experienced! I felt like I knew most of the stag as family and friends during our stay. Our first day of arrival was a testament to this. We arrived earlier than normal for check in due to our early ferry arrival into Mykonos. The staff arranged a shuttle service for pickup directly to the hotel. Since our room was not ready and we needed to wait, the manager was more than happy to serve us breakfast (which by the way is awesome Every morning) since we were hungry and waiting for our room even bough breakfast service had already ended. From then on, each day was a testament to the level of personal service each staff member delivers. Every evening there was a visit to the room with water, weather info for the next day, and a little treat! This made our stay feel so special. The beds are also extremely comfortable and we loved our room with the jacuzzi on the balcony! What an incredible view to wake up to. The only thing I could recommend but had no bearing on our stay or experience was we wished the pool was heated. Special thanks to the manager of the hotel, Anastasis, Anna, Jorge, Demitra! Stay there this season and you will know why you will know the staff members! Thank you for a great experience and for being so great to us during our stay! Can’t wait...
