We planned a trip to Antiparos and so were simply using Mykonos as a stopover before getting a ferry to Paros and then another boat to Antiparos.||Our first night was 23rd August. The room we got was in desperate need of renovation, with squeaky beds, lumpy mattresses and a shower that didn't work properly. It was thankfully only for one night and so we weren't too fussed about it. However, it did cost us €130 with breakfast; a rip off for what it is but we put this down to it being the height of the holiday season.||Our second night was 5th Sept. This only cost us €62 and we had a much better room - the twin room was slightly larger with better facilities. It was a room overlooking the main courtyard (rather than the room we had before which was near the back of the hotel). Husband's bed was squeaky but mine was okay this time - luck of the draw!||Breakfast is very average - instant coffee, fruit (some of which came out a tin) and bread with butter and preserves. We asked for yoghurt and they kindly gave us a portion with honey, which was quite nice. Orange juice is a sickly sweet cheap squash, so one sip was all we could tolerate. ||Had we stayed in a room like the first night, my score would have been 2 out of 5; but because we got a marginally improved room and cheaper rate the second night (plus location is right near the port and only 10-15 mins drive from the airport) I've scored it a 3. Be warned though, the hotel is up a hill; so it can be a bit of a trek walking up and down it if you don't have a bike/quad/car (and you're unfit, like we regrettably are at the moment - at least it is a motivator to get us back to the gym when we return home!).||I would personally never book a one or two week stay here, as there are much nicer hotels and studios on the island. But for a convenient stopover in peak season, it served its...
Read moreI booked here for rates, basically, as I was on budget, also booked quite late so not much choice.||HORRIBLE worn down and old fashioned common areas, CRAPPY rooms and grumpy staff who is totally useless and UNHELPFUL. Sadly poor breakfast and a radio from the 60´s with cheesy music in a surreally depressing atmosphere.||||During my stay I suffered an ACCIDENT in the hotel room: The bottom of my shower was broken, but covered by an anti-slip plastic which actually slipped and I flipped over, cutting all my sole deeply. The hotel had no proper first aid kit (just some expired old and dirty gauze, and didn´t bother to ask if I needed a ride to the hospital. I asked my travel agency to change me to a different hotel and Panorama was not collaborative at all. Basically didn´t even offer a refund of the rest of the stay, but not even a complimentary drink, NOTHING!!! They offered to change me another room, probably of the same quality, which I didn´t need at this point. With such foot I couldn´t stand on it and my holiday was ruined.||||If this happened in a civilized country, the hotel would have done ANYTHING to avoid me from going to touristic police or to leave such a negative comment. In Mykonos the police basically told me not to be bothered as not much can be done (probably they didn´t want to work either)||I consulted a Greek lawyer to see what can be done, but basically the costs of a court would have exceeded what the case is worth.||||So the only thing I can do is to DISCOURAGE other travellers to book here. The pictures tell more than words, have a look at their solution trying to fix the bottom...
Read moreThumbs Down! Panorama Myconos Greece You should camp out before choosing this hotel. First, no shuttle service/bus/cab to hotel. Right away they hit you up for 30e to ride up the hill. No buses ride up to what I call the Bates Hotel. Rooms are small, musty, hot. Tv size of a basket ball. Every time you leave the hotel you have to pull your key mini fridge goes off as well as air so forget a cold drink at the end of a hot day. The beds were like rocks and my daughter's cot squeaked at every turn. The balcony was a table, concrete wall no view with rod iron bars. I had to ask for toliet paper! Breakfast was lousy they don't tell u it is 5e the woman running it is not very friendly and does not appear to like the people who are paying for the stay. I questioned whether she was reusing the food people did not eat. They claim it is included in stay but is not. We paid 200.00$ a night. Granted it is peak season but this place is robbing you( not to mention the entire Island) see my review about staying in Myconos (clear of rip off after rip off of this tourist trap) My last remark is that I should have listened to the review I read on tripadvisor not to stay there but I didn't think any hotel could...
