The location offers stunning views and high-quality ingredients, but unfortunately, the overall experience was ruined by poor service. The staff was unprofessional, and everything felt like a hassle. Our food was significantly delayed, and even something as simple as grilled vegetables seemed to be a challenge for the kitchen.
What made things worse was the behavior of the staff, who acted overly confident and made a show of adjusting portion sizes—as if to justify the delays—rather than focusing on proper service. In an attempt to compensate for the late food, the manager informed us that some items would be complimentary. However, when we reviewed the bill, we were surprised and disappointed to find that even the so-called complimentary dishes had been charged.

Read moreI recently dined at Papaioannou restaurant , and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers breathtaking views that perfectly complement its seafood offerings. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations that catered to our tastes. The highlight, of the experience, was the food. Each bite was a testament to the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The wine list was extensive and thoughtfully curated, providing the perfect accompaniment to our meal. Overall, Papaioannou restaurant is a must-visit for seafood lovers. The combination of excellent service, high-quality food, and stunning views makes it a standout dining destination. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return for another...
Read moreThe restaurant has a beautiful location, overlooking the beach. The staff were immaculate and very attentive. The doctor and atmosphere were first class. As can be normal in a fish restaurant not all dishes are available, so I missed out on the ceviche red prawns. There were plenty other fascinating starters. All the food was very well prepared and of good standard. A couple of improvements would help, maybe a daily menu, to help anyone make their choice, also the payment system was difficult to work out, with a lot of the dishes priced as €/kg, so a simple lobster with prawn could easily be very overpriced, and it wasn’t clear if the dishes were for 2/4...
