Saint Stefanos Cafe Snack Bar & GRILL — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

I stopped into St. Stefan is for a their cabana rentals and drinks. I asked if I can order drinks and was told to sit at a cabana and they will come. 10 mins in a lady came and said the cabana was 30 euros for 2 chairs and the umbrella. I thought that was a great deal. I asked if I can order a bottle of rose wine as well and she said she will come back for my drink order. I was told you could pay by card but she demanded cash. She brought my change and I asked if I can now order a bottle of wine. She said she would come back. After an hour of waiting I went inside to ask if I can now order some drinks? I was told I have to wait by my cabana to order. She finally came around asking if anyone would like drinks I raised my hand and said yes but she walked right by me and took other orders. Long story short, almost 3 hours of sitting and not one drink was ordered, i tried multiple times. A 30 euro rental had the potential of become a $200 sale in bottles of rose. Why wouldn’t you want to capitalize on making money? And the second I decided to leave a staff member came running to ask if I was finished. I definitely wasn’t rude and I’m the over tipper that supports the hospitality industry, so for the life of me couldn’t figure why I couldn’t get a drink from this place not even a...

We visited here as a group of 6 on 21/9/2022 and unfortunately our experience was not the best. If you wish to be spoken to rudely by waiters then this is the place to visit. I, myself ordered on behalf of the rest of the party and read out the items off the menu which we wanted to order. The waiter asked me if all these items were “just for me” and laughed at me. The rest of the table, including myself were not amused. Following this, we requested sauces and other items with our meals and the waiter proceeded to serve us with a poor attitude. In addition to this after about 1 hour 15 minutes one member of the party’s food had not arrived and no apology was made for forgetting the order. And finally, we wanted to pay for our own items that we each ordered and were told that one person should pay for everyone and we were to then “sort it out later”. I think as a customer we have the right to decide how exactly we would want to pay for the meal between us and not be told what to do.
