King Minos Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Nafplio

I have already reviewed this hotel once before, in 2017, but as a family we liked it so much that we went back. And it definitely didn’t disappoint at all, so I wanted to leave another up to date review.||There are two things that really ‘make’ this hotel. Firstly, the views it offers. Since the hotel is situated high up above the little town of Tolo (I reject the view of another reviewer describing it as ‘a dive’!), you get stunning views of the bay. I would definitely recommend that you book a sea view room for this reason. You will not regret it. There are a few hotels situated right on the beach in Tolo, which is also a great location, but in my opinion the higher situation of the King Minos is a better location because of the exceptional views.||Secondly, the pool area. I love the music that plays all day, and the bar / restaurant area staff are lovely. It’s a great area to relax, swim and sunbathe. If you sit at one of the tables on the far side of the pool, you can also enjoy the views some more too.||The rooms are comfortable and modern, with all the expected facilities and conveniences. The lobby area is also very spacious and has lots of armchairs and sofas to sit on if you wish. There’s also a gym if you like to work out and lots of parking spaces. ||For me, the only ever so light downside is the food. It’s perfectly fine, but not delicious. However, since we booked for breakfast only each day, this was fine as we were free to eat out every evening anyway. ||Overall, I have to say that I really do like the King Minos, and will definitely be back again...

The King Minos hotel is fantastic. This was our 4th summer visit since 2021 and the Hotel team are amazing. Friendly yet professional. Very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast options. Lunch and Dinner food options are good and generous. Gluten Free options clearly identified for evening Dinner.

Great atmosphere at the swimming pool and bar area with excellent service and drinks are perfectly cold. Breathtaking view of Tolo seafront and surrounding areas.

Sea view rooms with Balcony are great, comfy beds and air conditioning works well. The are not the biggest rooms, but perfect for a holiday and well maintained. WiFi works throughout, not super fast, but reliable for video calls and downloads. Parking is no problem either as plentiful and free. The gym is small but functional with a Treadmill, Bike, Weight machines.

The hotel team go out of their way to help and advise for things to do in Tolo and within the hotel. Breakfast About 200 meters downhill walk to the beach and all the shops and restaurants.

The hotel will organize Tolo taxi transport for you from Athens Airport too if requested. About €140 for a Mercedes car, €240 for a larger mini-van, each way. 2 hours drive.

Really good place for family to stay in. And alone . The stuff is really nice

The sea view is absolutly amazing and the mountain View is ... bad. The room is clean very often and you can ask them to clean your room while you are away. The pool is great and very fun. And the small place they sell stuff for is cheap. If you want to go to the sea , you can go down and get there very quickly. Breakfast is really good and there is a lot of varity of food.

And kids and adult . I really recommend to stay there if you want to go to tolo. Me and my family remained there for 5 days and we liked it alot. The lobby is big and nice place to relax in the hotel. at night there is a very nice view of the moon and tolo And in the lobby there are trips into nearby islands .

The bedroom is fine and the showers are great and fun to mess around with the options . The place is very nice for babies but the pool is very deep even in the shalow waters .
