We have been vacationing in the area these days, and the food, as well as the whole experience, are so good that we have barely eaten anywhere else during our visit- even though there are several neighboring taverns on the beach (which we have sampled in the past).

Great homemade traditional Greek food, comprising of a variety of meat, vegetarian, and seafood (including fish-of-the-day) dishes. As the dishes are prepared fresh, the menu slightly differs depending on the day and season.

It is apparent that the ingredients and raw materials are fresh and carefully selected. Preparation and recipes are authentically Greek - Old school home cooking.

Located on the beach, under the trees, with beautiful views of the off-shore islands.

Traditionally quaint styling and relaxed atmosphere, with clean & tidy surrounding.

To Neon is a charming, family-run taverna tucked right on the beach in Tolo, offering a breathtaking view of the bay. It’s the kind of place where time seems to have stood still—full of authentic character and warm atmosphere, far from the typical commercial spots.

The food is absolutely delicious, prepared with love and tradition. Their tzatziki is hands down the best we’ve had in all of Greece! The fish is always fresh and perfectly cooked, and dishes arrive quickly, straight from the kitchen.

What truly sets To Neon apart is the personal touch. The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely connects with his guests—he even remembered us from previous visits, which made the experience feel even more special.

I can only hope that my photos can give back something of the tavern's atmosphere. The music of the cicadas, the splashing of the waves running onto the shore, the salty scent of the sea and the fragrance of the flowers and foliage of the trees above us, these are that I have to leave to your imagination. It is one of the rare restaurants where you can enjoy the proximity of the sea from the cool shade of trees. We shared a wonderful Greek salad with a few wasps who are regular guests at the tables but cause no problem. Let them have a snack, enough and to spare. To Neon is closer to the Harbour than to the center of the town, and the beach, so visitors can't find it as easily as the restaurants with central location.
