Eleni Family Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Elena's place is really family friendly, it was spacious, and the price was very good at the beginning of October.

The staff was really helpful and kind (as everywhere on the island). I must highlight how family friendly the place is. Especially the cleaning lady, who was supernice and really thoughtful. She came in every day to check if we would like to have the place cleaned, brought clean towels every day, multiple times asked if we need additional blankets, if we need anything, brought by herself a baby bath tub, and many other things. Really really big up for that.

If thinking about staying at her place, I would consider that there were cold white lightbulbs (I would guess around 5000 K) everywhere, so it felt "cold" indoor all the time. We specifically didn't like them, so it was a little drawback for us.

There is also just a little window in the kitchen/dining room, so it was dark there all day long, specifically when it was raining outside.

the bathroom was OK, but the shower is very small. Even if you are skinny, you can barely shower without touching the shower curtain.

there was not much to see in Sidari, so renting a car is a very good choice (btw. there was a parking lot on the premises, so no worries about that)

We stayed at eleni family apartments for almost two weeks and were mostly happy with everything. Away from the strip so nice and quiet and the pool was nice, kitchen and bathroom were basic so you make do with what’s there. Eleni and her family are friendly and welcoming too. We had some lovely neighbours but after a few days a tribe turned up and seemed to take over the place. We were sandwiched in between a party of 20 -30 people that had various apartments and they were quite hostile to us. It seemed like two families were in one apartment and living in shifts for a few days. No matter how many times we said hello and our daughter tried to play with their kids, we were met with dirty looks or just ignored. They even left the pool area when we arrived! We got the feeling eleni knew we were isolated but didn’t do anything or acknowledge the situation . So we went out more and made the most of our time by hiring a car. It felt a real shame in the end because it made us decide we wouldn’t book there again. Sidari is lovely on the whole but I think hotel owners should be aware of booking too many groups or families together that will put single families out in the cold. Just came back after a fantastic week at Eleni. She offered us a great deal for a week time. Lovely owners and nice accommodation. Very impressed by the cleanliness. Pool is nice and it was the icing on the cake for my 3 boys in this vacation. It was nice to chill at the pool after a day at the beach. the studios are very spacious yet the bathroom could have been a little larger. Each one have 2 terraces one in front and one in the back with table and chairs. Kitchen is well equipped for self catering. My wife is quite picky and she has something to comment almost everytime. But not this time....she was finally happy with the accommodation. We had a great vacation in Corfu and Elena's apartments contributed to this ..... Strongly...
