Golden View Beach Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Poros

This hotel has a great potential but... it is a perfect example of how bad management creates bad teams, and that results in a bad for customer experience. ||Staff of this hotel is super rude and LAZY. Except for Sima,cleaning lady not one smile in 11 days. Many reviews said it but we decided to ignore it.. big mistake!!! George (whoever he is, maybe a manager, never welcomed us) always has excuse for any bad review....||You want overpriced coffee at the beach? Well you will have to beg for it in this hotel, even for 3,5€ frappe they don't feel they should bring it before you ask several times or go to the bar yourself. ||Your room has small issue and you call reception? Expect that long hair women to yell at you and problem will not even be solved.||Be aware no view can replace kindness and they are a shame for usual greek hospitality. Beach is OK but they can do some effort too and clean it a bit. ||Breakfast really bad quality, and parking is an issue.|Bad internet if you need to work even a bit...

This is a fantastic hotel with great facilities and really helpful staff. We stayed in room 301 which has a beautiful view over the beach and the bay. The room was really spacious with a comfortable bed, air con and what looked to be a brand new well equipped bathroom and a really good. Cleaner in every day with fresh towels. Breakfast was good with enough choice, a bigger selection of fresh fruit might have been nice, and the restaurant at night served good meals. Bar prices were really reasonable. Private beach is right in front of the hotel with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, similar with the pool area which was immaculately clean and comfortable. |Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. We spent 9 pleasant nights at Golden View Beach Hotel on the picturesque island of Póros. Golden View is an historic hotel situated in an enviable position with gorgeous views. It possesses its own private beach (sand and shingle) for the residents' exclusive use: a big plus! The property is in excellent condition and immaculately maintained. We can verify that no effort is spared in securing the contentment of the guests. For those seeking tranquillity in an idyllic setting, Golden View is an ideal choice.
