10/10 experience. The salads are delicious and fresh with the most creative yet simple dressings and ingredients. The seabream carpaccio is to die for. The tuna fillet was fresh, texture cooked to a medium rare perfection accompanied with grilled summer carrots and an interesting twist, puree de hazelnut. On to the orzo seafood dish was everything you expect and more from a delicious beach side Greek restaurant. Full of flavor, fresh mussels and shrimp. We went 3 nights in a row because once we tried this restaurant everywhere else fell short. Top this off with 7 euro 1/2 liters of crisp white wine to wash it all down.
Last but not least the service was wonderful, the owner and the staff were kind, inviting and patient with our questions and very accommodating of food allergies. Read moreWe were staying at the hotel on premises and ate at the restaurant for convenience. Glad we did; it was delicious! We had fried sardines, nice and fresh. Stuffed mushrooms which were sooo tasty, and quite decadent. We were a bit hesitant to get the octopus, because of the price, but it was definitely worth it, especially compared to the grilled octopus we had later in town. Unlike that one, this was perfectly cooked, fresh and clean tasting, served with tasty little sauces. The contrast to the other restaurant was so big, we ended up eating here again the next day. Littler off the tourist drag, but worth seeking out. For the food, but also for the lovely setting by the beach. Only complaint was that the music was a little loud for our taste. Pulled the CAT Into the bay and owner popped by on his tender to say hi and give us a card, friendly and helpful. We headed there for lunch as a party of 8. The whole experience was about as good as it gets. Amazing location, the food is off the charts (i had seabream carpaccio followed by sardine fillets). From the carafe of rose to the stuffed mushrooms, tuna tarter, Greek salad, chicken souvlaki etc etc, you cannot go wrong stopping here and just revelling in an amazing Greek taverna with near Michelin star food on the most beautiful bay all at sensible prices.
