North Coast Seaside Luxury Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Rethymnon

We had an excellent stay at North Coast Suites. It was very easy to check in, even arriving out of manned hours. The rooms are so beautifully done and spotless! Waking up with the view of the sea every morning was something special. The beach is half stone half sand, so we'd recommend taking some water shoes with you. Nice facilities nearby: Noulis - a bakery 3 doors down is invaluable! Really great breads, international pastries as well as local ones. We'd recommend the graviera cheese pie for breakfast with a little honey. Good coffee, salads and sandwiches available too. Lidl - just a 3 minute drive or 25 minute walk up a hill. Beautiful high end restaurants just to the west, right on the water. Beautiful setting.

The walk into the Rethymno old town is about 20mins to the east. We found it better to walk than drive as it can be difficult to park there.

Just be wary that, sensibly, the electricity is triggered when there is motion in the room, so if you're looking to charge devices or do some washing when you're not there, it may not work out for you. But a minor inconvenience.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting Rethymnon town. It's located right in front of Koumbes Beach, alongside other holiday homes.

The suite was very new and well-maintained. We had a room on a higher floor facing the main road, which could be a bit noisy with the balcony door open.

The property has a lift, making it easy to move our luggage. There's an open carpark with a small entrance leading to the beach, which you have to drive slowly to notice.

Overall, our stay at the hotel was pleasant. The rooms were clean with modern design and located close to several restaurants and cafes. The rooftop area was a favorite of mine for enjoying a quiet sunset, as there were no crowds when we were there. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the room included a washer and breakfast.

The only drawback is that you'll definitely need to drive if you want to explore Rethymnon town, as it's quite a distance to walk from the accommodation to the town center. Considering the price we paid, I think this hotel...

Almost a week in paradise! We stayed at North Coast Seaside Luxury Suites in June 2024, and it became our HQ and recharging station for trips around the island.

We fell in love with the apartment from the online photos (especially the kitchen – crucial for us!), and the balcony with a sea view was everything we dreamed of.

Every morning, we lived the ‘breakfast with orange juice on the balcony’ cliché, and we loved it!

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the place well-kept, and since it’s a smaller building, it felt cozy and never crowded. The beach access was perfect, with our own sunbeds that were always well-maintained. A real hidden gem!

Great location with easy access to beautiful Rethymno, plus parking by the lifeguard tower made everything easy.

We've never gone back to the same vacation spot twice, but North Coast might just...
