This is a really nice restaurant for fine dining. Good food and a large selection of wines. I will issue upfront a warning for those that are allergic to dill or (like me) simply don't like its taste: you need to ask the waiter from the beginning not to put dill on your food because the chef here is a bit obsessed with it. I will go into details below.
We went here on 2 different occasions and I will give some description of what we had: for starters: the steamed mussels were fresh and properly cooked but their sauce was a "dill soup" because there was so much dill in it that you couldn't feel any other taste to it; my girlfriend had to eat it because I couldn't; the menu made no mention of any dill for this dish; the tuna tartare is another starter we tried and it was very delicious, the tuna chunks had a pleasant fresh taste; last but definitely not least, I tried 2 fresh oysters and they were delicious; they brought separately lemon to squeeze, wild sea salt and olive oil; these initially also came with a lot of dill on them, which again isn't mentioned in the menu, but I had a small outburst and they kindly exchanged them with 2 other oysters that had no dill... and for this they have my sincere thanks! the salads: the Cretan salad was good, so was the Seasonal salad but our favorite was the salad with grilled haloumi cheese; the main dishes: the grilled sea bass with vegetables, which was fresh and very delicious, and the waiter opened it in front of us; the grilled salmon fillet, which was cooked just right, it wasn't dry at all; the sea bream fillet with shrimps was also very delicious, and I really enjoyed its potato cream; be advised it's a rather small portion; We also had 8 pieces of salmon avocado uramaki and they were very delicious, so we can definitely recommend the sushi as well! the deserts were the lemon cream, which was really good, with a nice and relaxed taste... while the Jamaica was quite a big portion (which can be a lot for one person) and it was very chocolaty, with just a small pinch of salted caramel syrup. The deserts also came with complementary fruit plate and some raki.
What we don't recommend having here is the frappe with ice cream. They're not doing it properly, either they don't put milk in it or the ice cream is not of good quality... but it has a very deluted taste to it and it's almost like drinking plain water. Very tasteless. Even though it has ice cream, they also put some ice cubes. The second time we requested not to put any and they forgot and still brought them with ice cubes. But if out of 3 frappes none of them tasted as it should, it's safe to say they don't know how to prepare it.
The atmosphere is very nice here, with nice music and the restaurant right next to the sea, plus a nice view to...

Read moreWe went to eat at this restaurant yesterday, unfortunately a big mistake!
Service: The service was basically not bad, but it took a very long time and we were served by 4 different people, which makes the whole thing very impersonal.
Location: The location is very nice, the entrance is also very nice. Chairs very uncomfortable, tables and chairs often don't match, no consistent concept. The windows facing the sea are completely dirty, so you can hear the sea but not see it. The floor is chipped and the walls are yellow, very unattractive. We were only outside, so I don't want to rate the inside.
Food: The food was an imposition and unfortunately actually inedible. We had edamame with sweet chilli sauce, which was completely overcooked and covered with a cheap sweet chilli sauce. The edama were in their own water, so they were not steamed but cooked and not properly drained.
Main course: Grilled salmon completely devoid of flavour and no longer glazed. It was accompanied by rice with corn, completely tasteless, and an aubergine cream, unfortunately also completely tasteless. Salt and pepper were only added on request. The salt came in a big container where everyone probably put their hand in. Very unappetising. Tuna, unfortunately, was tough, tasteless and lay on vegetables swimming in oil. Inedible and was almost completely left standing, only a few pieces of tuna were eaten.
The wine was ok.
When the food was cleared, the first time we asked if everything was ok, we answered that it was inedible and the salmon was boring. It was accepted, but they didn't apologise or show much interest. When the bill came (about 63€) they didn't apologise or take anything off the bill. We were just asked if we wanted something for free after the bill was paid.
All in all, a terrible evening.
I can't rate the other dishes and the sushi, but if you do such a poor job with the simple dishes (edamame and salmon), you probably won't shine with the more...
