The rooms are filled ants everywhere coming out from the bed and the sitting room, the cleaners don’t do anything about them
The service is also terrible, they don’t give towels they don’t clean your room everyday (from my experience they only came to clean my room one time for the full week i’ve been here)
The staff is also rude, when a member of staff went to clean my room she was very angry and dropped around 2-3 off of the counter and she didn’t clean the waste from the plates properly. We had to call her 2 times..
One guy at the desk started shouting at me because i swapped out my unopened melting ice cream, I understand if I was in the wrong but he has no right to shout at me.
We also found a way to keep the electricity on for the fridge so the food in the won’t expire and the guy at desk came into our room and turned everything off.
The door locks are also quiet stiff with 2 keys rather than a keycard like most hotels.
The hotel is also in a terrible location, It is on a steep hill so if your above the age of 65 yeah good...
Read moreNice clean room, the bathroom being especially nice. Nice and spacious. The shower was very impressive with 4 different modes. Pool was nice, not the biggest but for a small hotel it was good. There were enough sunbeds at all times. Beach a 5-10 min walk. Grocery shop close by too. Food at the bar was very good and reasonably priced. The number 20 bus to rethymno is every 30 minutes, you can catch it outside of Matt’s cafe and get tickets at the ‘Topmarket’ supermarket. Maids changed the sheets and towels every few days. As mentioned in other reviews you had to pay an extra €8/day for the air con which is slightly annoying. The hill up is intimidating especially when you have shopping to carry up. The kitchen didn’t have an oven which was surprising for a self catering room, it does have a hob and...
Read moreExceeded our expectations. Beautiful, spacious and well-equipped apartment, which never got too hot, even when it was hitting 40degrees outside. We even had a real lemon tree growing outside our bedroom window! The hotel itself is beautiful and well-equipped, with a lovely outdoor pool and bar area. There's also a well-stocked supermarket nearby, and a lovely little restaurant at the bottom of the hill that's also well worth a visit. |This was our teenage son's first holiday outside of the UK, and we timed it to fall in the week of his nineteenth birthday. He was a little apprehensive about the culture changes, but it was the best introduction to a holiday abroad he could possibly have had, and he's well up for coming back again next year, to see everything we didn't get a chance to...
