Haraki Beach House — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

Utterly lovely - highly recommended!!

This place was really lovely - such a great place to stay! The location is perfect - under an hour's drive from the airport, it's 10km from Lindos, and makes a great base for exploring and and down the island. The accommodation is situated at one end of a quiet bay, literally 200 meters from the sea, with it's own dedicated spot on the beach with umbrella and sun loungers included (there are two on the beach and two more stored at the accommodation that you can carry down, so four in total).

The beach is a mix of sandy/pebbly, so I recommend you take beach shoes (or you can buy them at the mini-markets there). The water is crystal clear, and like a millpond most of the time!

The accommodation itself was great - it's the bottom floor of a three storey detached property (there was no noise from above!), with two bedrooms - one double (air conditioned), one twin, plus a decent sized bathroom with modern toilet/sink/shower, and an air-conditioned kitchen/dining/living space. (The bedrooms and bathroom look too have been recently modernised - some of the photos on here are clearly old!)

There's a spacious sun terrace at the front, accessed through sliding patio doors from the living area, complete with four chairs and a patio table - it overlooks a 'boardwalk' that runs along the length of the bay - and a small terrace at the rear with a washing machine and drying rack, perfect for drying towels and swimwear.

Parking at the nearby hotel is included, with plenty of spaces, and the host Maria (Stefanos' mother) met us to hand over the keys and give us a quick tour.

Location, Location, Location! Such a beautiful spot practically on the beach! This apartment is an amazing find, and the perfect place to base ourselves during our all too brief trip to Rhodes. A little quieter than some areas, it is far from sleepy, and felt more authentic/less touristy. There is a fantastic selection of eateries, for all budgets available on the front, and a couple of mini-markets for supplies. The bay was lovely and calm, perfect for paddling, swimming and snorkelling during our stay.

The accommodation was perfect for us (3 friends) to share, and can see it would also suit a family. The kitchen/lounge/diner area was a convivial space to prep meals from fresh produce sourced from the local mini-markets. The veranda was a great place to sit, read and people watch. You also have a reserved spot on the 'front row' of the beach, complete with sun-loungers and umbrella.

We hired a car, and this was a great base to explore the surrounding areas of Lindos, Grande Bleu beach, The Butterfly Valley and Rhodes town as all were 30/45mins away.

Maria the owner is a wonderfully bubbly person, and was so kind (delicious cake provided upon our arrival!) and helpful from booking, right through to arrival...

Cosy house directly at the beach of Haraki with seaview! Two bedrooms with spacious living room and kitchen. Terrace with seaview will be your the most favourite place from beginning.
