Kallicrates Village — Hotel in Municipality of Sfakia

These words are a few that come to mind when thinking of my stay at Kallicrates Village: Quiet - serene - relaxing - clean - chill - laid back - hospitality

Located in the small beach village of Fragokastello , this family run studio hotel is the ideal place for a relaxing & mind rejuvenating vacation . The entire property is extremely well maintained , with gardens , trees and a great pool .

The owner, Antonis, has transformed the place with attention to details while making you feel at home . Rooms are immaculately clean and have a super balcony facing the garden . Air conditioning, mini kitchenette and refrigerator are all included within .

Morning breakfast is a must : rich offerings from fully loaded omelettes and breads or my favorite , the traditional Sfakia pie : filled with myzythra cheese and topped with honey . Delicious .

Evening drinks by the pool before or after dinner are also highly recommended. Bar is fully stocked .

Antonis has vast knowledge of the area and can assist with a ton of info for beaches , tavernas , places for hiking and historical locations around the island to visit .

Loved staying here for 9 nights. Room is spacious and clean, bed comfortable, plenty of storage. Privacy good. Breakfast and pool bar is open all the time and very helpful, nice food. Location is good for Frangokastello, walking to restaurants and bars. Good parking and it feels like a very safe place, it has a nice vibe. The owner and family are very helpful in all respects (provided a kettle when asked). The pool is lovely with plenty of shade, also clean. Can't wait...
