Oasis Tavern — Restaurant in Municipality of Sfakia

We have stayed at the nearby located Oasis apartments and visited Oasis restaurant almost every day. This place is driven by the family and offers more than delicious local home made Cretan cuisine. There are both cold and warm dishes to choose from. Owners always helped us making a choice by good explanation. All their food is fantastic, there is something for any taste. We have especially enjoyed tzatziki and Cretan salad. Taverna is very cozy and is decorated in local traditions. Their location looks more like a postcard because there is a breathtaking sea view from the restaurant. Taverna is located at the small hill, 100 meters away from the beach. So you can enjoy the splendid view and the sound of sea waves, having your food. Everything was perfect, not to forget...

There is no time pressure, ample space, It feels cosy. The radio plays local music at low volume in the back, and the view from the table is wonderful, certainly when the sun slowly hides behind the mountains...
