Hotel Roumani — Hotel in Municipality of Spetses

This was not our first time and it won't definitely be the last. Every year we visit this beautiful island and every time we return to Roumani Hotel and we don't regret it. Especially this year we were happy as there is a total renovation in almost all the rooms (a special note to the suites on the 2nd and 3rd floor, I wish we had booked those) and the breakfast was more upscaled than the previous years, a very pleasant surprise. It is situated in the best area of Dapia port having everything at the closest proximity. Shops, restaurants, cafes, s/m, bars even the stroll to the Old Harbour is not only close but very exploring and interesting. We are always fond of the people who work there, very polite and keen to help you. We travel all around the world and we pay attention to the details (Cleanliness, service, nice breakfast) that matter and are truly important to us. It is funny but this time we even noticed that they changed the amenities to a top quality and of course I told them....

The location of the hotel is pretty convenient, and the service was good, since they did provide us with a last minute upgrade to our room after we asked for one.||The rooms however (considering we had one for two people) where really small and especially the bathroom. The way the toiled had been Installed in our bathroom made it literally impossible to use it, unless you sat sideways on it. The shower barely fit one averagely sized person. ||The breakfast was also pretty lacking and without much to offer. Apart from cheese and ham, a couple of pastries (consisting of cake slices and Greek cheese pie) and a few fruits (apples, bananas and stuff like that) you had to pay for other things like scrambled eggs.||Additionally, we had to pay roughly 70€ euros for a late checkout, so that we could use the room for another 4 hours, which as far as my knowledge and experience goes, is quite...

POSITIVES|Location of Hotel is fabulous, close to the Port with many restaurants nearby.|Our room view was spectacular.|The receptionist was lovely.|The breakfast lady and cleaner were very friendly and helpful. The older barman was very accommodating also.|NEGATIVES|We needed to wear a raincoat when turning on the basin vanity tap. Water everywhere.|The shower head clearly needs replacing as the water goes in every direction except onto you.|The whole room needs a proper thorough detailed clean to remove dust in curtains under bed and in vent screen.|The Sour Rude young man with the man bun at the front of house waiting, needs an attitude check or some proper training in customer service.
