Alfis — Restaurant in Municipality of Spetses

We ordered our ice cream at the bar and went to the balcony to eat it. After one of us had finished their ice cream (and the other was almost finished), we were approached by a rude waiter who told us that it's "against the rules" for us to order inside and then eat outside. He said that area was for sit-in guests only. He repeated himself again, in a confrontational manner, and said "those are the rules". Not once were we asked while ordering whether we were taking the ice cream away or eating there. He turned what could have been a polite conversation into a reprimand, which is far from the right way to be treated as a customer just trying to enjoy an ice cream! I told him I didn't believe he treated us fairly, to which he replied "if you knew anything about shops, this is how it's done". I know enough about shops to know that they don't like 1-star reviews. We would come to this place multiple times every summer and we're not...

I love this place. The waffles are amazing and the ice cream is delicious as well. The waiter was super kind and helpful in handling our (thankfully mild) food allergies. Also the portions are super generous. We had to share a waffle with my wife because we were incapable of finishing a whole one each haha.

Absolutely incredible!!! Thank god we tried the ice cream at this place on our first day, as we went back every single day of our trip. The ice cream is honestly so so good. We ended up trying waffles and crepes as well and they didn’t disappoint either. We loved this place. Worth going back to spetses just for this. Delicious!!!...
