Icon Urban Living — Hotel in Municipality of Thessaloniki

The good thing is that no one broke in during my stay and I had nothing stolen. The air con, fridge, hot water, lights and monitor work. But I don't recommend this place. Two stars, a small, plasticky, just bare minimum.

🔓 Security Many people didn't close the main door properly and it was often left unlocked. No security box in the room either.

📱 Communication No receptionist and the contact person is not helpful on the phone. I had difficulty getting in the first time and I called the number, he told me to check the mail (which I already had). I was stuck outside for over an hour. When you send emails, no one replies. Says I can “request when things run out in the room during the stay” - I asked for 2 more nespressos (they gave me 4 and I was there for a week). No one ever replied or got my nespressos. I even had to empty my own tiny rubbish bin that filled up every other day.

🛁 Bathroom My shower was blocked and flooded after 5 mins 👎 you can't unblock it yourself either because of the way it is built.

🛏️ Bedding Bulky cotton pillow. My neck was in pain after the first night.

📍 Location Not convenient or exciting....

This is a brand new building (2023) with rooms only (initially I thought that it is a traditional hotel) - hence no reception, no lobby, no breakfast room. You get into the building and into the room with a code that you receive through booking. The room was sufficiently large and comfortable, with a nice bathroom, working desk, fridge, a Nespresso machine and a small balcony. It is located in walking distance from the center of Thessaloniki. If you arrive too early or want to leave later, there are a few lockers right at the building entrance, where you can lock your luggage. I was very happy...

Pure catastrophe! I do not recommend going here because although the stay is okey, they do not provide you a parking spot. And because the stay is in the shady neighborhood, my car god scratched with the key. The do not want to take any responsibility about that although they have cameras in front of the building. Other than that, the do not have a reception and don’t check if you stay there or someone else. If something happens to you who is...
