Villa Pavlina — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

The rooms were clean, big balconies. The hotel has a small pool area. I looked nice, but I never used it. It says that the hotel has airport shuttle on the website, however this is not correct. There is buses you can use to get to the airport, they seem to run all night. The airport is about 5 min away with taxi. The service was good, the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lot of stairs, be prepared to walk up and down on them. The only downside of this hotel is the location. I was a bit tricky to find the hotel. According to the map, it says that the hotel is along the road. It's not. It's in an ally in an ally. We found out selves to be in a labyrinth before we reached the hotel. You have to walk this part, no cars can reach the hotel, However, they put up signs as soon as you turn in to the first ally and point you to the...

Everything except the outside was awful we asked for a room for threw and gave us a room for two and just put a an additional bed in front of the closet so we couldn't put are clothes anywhere so we left them inside are suitcases. Also we had no signal while we were in the room and if someone tried to contact us there was no way possible. I forgot to mention about the toilet flash which worked only if you pressed it once, move it right then left and pressed again and it was leeking. Also when we opened the air conditioning it started to smell really bad.

All I have to say in the end...

I have spent a week in Villa Pavlina, Karterados, Santorini. My flight was late 2 hours, but the husband of Pavlina came for me to the airport in the middle of the night after a phone call, and the way back he also took me to the airport very early in the morning. So I was very happy. Their service is excellent. The hotel is very very clean and everything is new and beautiful. Very easy to walk into Fira, max 20 minutes to the bus station of Fira or the Caldera. I suggest everyone this hotel. No noise at...
