Ellibay — Hotel in Municipality of Tilos

Just a short stroll along the Livadia waterfront, five minutes from the ferry, Elli Bay Apartments are perfectly located for a Tilos beach escape.|Katerina is a welcoming and delightful manager who is on sight most of the time, The apartments are spare and roomy, immaculately clean with a comfortable bed and mosquito net and plenty of airflow through the apartment. The airconditioner is a welcome addition in the very hot summer months and a basically equipped kitchenette will allow for some self catering . Some upper apartments have generous balconies while the ground floors look out on well grassed spaces. |The pebble beach runs around the length of the very lovely bay with myriad sun lounges, umbrellas and shady trees to choose from, the water is crystal clear and there's a terrific choice of restaurants dotted along the beachfront.|Special thanks to Katerina who saw my despair on hearing there is no laundry in the town and kindly offered to organise a wash. A bag was whisked away, washed, dried and beautifully ironed for an extremely modest price.|Livadia Tilos enjoys a gentle pace where the local life potters along and the visitors arriving by yacht or ferry merge seemlessly into the casual and friendly flow. |What more could a body want for an idyllic Greek...

We arrived at the port on the Dodekanisos ferry from Rhodes, as we got off the ferry we could see the Elli Bay about 100/150 m away, a nice simple walk even for someone like me with a dodgy knee or 2, check in was painlessly easy and we were shown to our 1st floor apartment by Eleni who also helped with our luggage, the apartment was quite big at around 45m2 so loads of space, the balcony was also large and very private, we were to the rear of the property with great views over the bay. ||The daily room clean service was first class, the room amenities were also top notch including the kitchenette allowing us to be self suffient for breakfast and lunch as we wished. The location was great for access to the various restaurants, mini markets and bakery and its all on the flat and a great wine bar next door to finish your day.||We will without doubt return but for longer than the 5 nights we stayed this time. There were various ferry options to and from the island, we used Dodekanisos as we were doing more than 5 trips they give a 30% ferry discount if you book by e mail and collect your tickets at the port, we also saw Blue Star and I think Anek and or Anem so actually quite easy to get to.||Katerina should be quite rightly proud of...

We are staying for five days in Ellibay hotel, and we are more than pleased. Firstly, the location is excellent since everything is so close. Stores, the port, mini-markets, travel agencies, bakery, coffee shops, beautiful beaches, restaurants, literally everything is within walking distance! As for the cleanliness, I can't be more than satisfied because they clean rooms every day, they empty the garbage (recycle bins are available in every room so please respect it), they even wash your dishes (since there is no sponge or cleaning liquid available so you could do it yourself). But if you have an intention to cook a lot, or if you are more than two visitors, you can buy a cheap cleaning set in the market and wash it by yourself. The lady who cleans the rooms is very nice, always with a smile on her face and very very polite! Mrs. Katerina who is the owner, is a lovely, kind lady who is always ready to help you with your requests. Overall, it's a great place to stay at and we do recommend it...
