George Aparts & Rooms — Hotel in Municipality of Tilos

A wonderful place and the wonderful hosts! Marcos and his father George are great, warm, open and kind people. Always ready and happy to help, offering their time and attention. Both Marcos and George were finding time for chatting, they were giving their good advices. Marcos lent us his Tilos map, he offered us to use this washing machine as well. The rooms were really Greek, very tidy, cleaned every day. In one of the rooms we had a small kitchen. Marcos gave us all the kitchen utensils we needed. Our rooms were on the ground floor, we could use the part of the terrace, shadowed by the plants, and eat there. The placement is perfect, close to the port, tavernas, shops, bus stop, but it’s very quiet at the same time. Even though the building is next to the street, the traffic is noticeable in hours of the ferry arrival only. Despite port’s closeness Marcos was waiting for us upon ferry arrival. Also, when we were taking the ferry off the island, Marcos accompanied us and George took our luggage by car. From the beginning to the end we were feeling like their family, not like tourists. We’ve spend amazing 5 days, we were unhappy to leave, as our stay felt way too short, and we do hope that we’ll come back here one day. Ευχαριστώ πολύ Μάρκο και Γιώργο...

Great place to stay! Simple, but nice room, little kitchen en basic bathroom. All kept very clean. Very comfortable bed, both ac and ceiling fan. On the toproof you can enjoy a drink at night and have a nice view, in the daytime you can dry your towel etc there. Location is terrific: near beach, supermarket en some nice bars/restaurants (but no problem to sleep). Most fantastic thing about this place: Markos, the owner. Wonderful, sweet and funny host who does his utmost best (and succeeds!) to make everyone feel at home. Definitely, a place you desire...
