Stayed here for 11 nights in July. Absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the owner who simply couldn’t do enough for you, she was so friendly. |We stayed in room 32 with a view over the mountains, room itself was pretty basic but was absolutely spotless. It smelt fresh and clean. The bedding was crisp white and changed every 2 days. The bed was comfy, 2 pushed together to make 1. Plenty of storage and over 30 coat hangers, bonus. Bathroom again dated but spotless again, shower was powerful and always had hot water. Towels again white great quality and changed every other day. Rooms where cleaned daily and bins emptied daily.|There was a small fridge in room, 1 bottle of water provided and the fresh water tap outside the hotel, perfect for refilling bottle, free of charge.|Breakfast was continental, something for everyone and always fresh. |Small book swap in bar area.|Wi-Fi in our room was brilliant we had the server right out the room. Tax for hotel is €2 per room per night. Aircon was €7 per night was very quiet and definitely needed in July.|Restaurants and beach only 3 min walk away. Great bakery and large supermarket 5 mins up the road.|This is our 7th visit to Stoupa over many years and stopped in 7 different hotels but I’d definitely return back to The Hotel Stoupa. The rooms are spotlessly clean and there is frequent linen change with maid service every day except Sunday.|The staff are very friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. A very special thank you to the lovely lady on reception who was always ready to have a pleasant chat accompanied by her beautiful smile. Also, a big thank you to the breakfast lady who also was lovely and pleasant and catered for our every need. |Finally, what a delicious breakfast every single day with cooked meats, cheese, a selection of bread, cereals, yogurt, home made jam. fruit, toast and eggs. Read moreWe had a very pleasant two weeks in this little traditional hotel. As expected, it was a little "old school ", but there were no complaints. Chris and her small staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel was spotless and the rooms regularly serviced. Breakfast was fairly typical and again no complaints. Having heard of restricted views from some of the balconies, since the erection of a bew building , we were happy with ours- sheltered by greenery, with a lovely mountain view to the side (see pic). The situation is great, a couple of minutes to the front, either down the lane past Doufexis, or along the little pathway past Villa Kosta, Potomaki and the excellent Captain's Bar 👍 We'd have no problem recommending...
