Stoupa Beach is truly a beach for everyone.
On the left side, the entrance into the sea is soft and sandy, perfect for families with kids or anyone who enjoys an easy swim. On the right side, you’ll find some stones in the water and a small rocky island that makes an excellent spot for snorkeling.
The water is calm, warm, and crystal clear, ideal for both swimming and relaxing. One of the most unique features is right in the middle of the beach, where a very clean mountain spring flows directly into the sea. This creates a refreshing, cooler area in the water – something I found really interesting and enjoyable.
There are a few beach bars with organized sunbeds, but also plenty of free space if you prefer to bring your own towel. The beach is also equipped with an accessible entrance for people with disabilities, making it welcoming to all.
Behind the beach, you’ll find a variety of restaurants and shops, giving you plenty of choices for lunch, drinks, or snacks without having to go far.
Overall, Stoupa Beach combines comfort, accessibility, and natural beauty – a perfect spot whether you’re looking to relax, swim, or...
Read moreA very nice sandy lovely clear water, gets a bit busy at the weekend but it is still very good. There are more pebbles than sand on the right handside waterfront. It is well organized with sunbeds ranging from €5-10 per pair of sunbed this year (2022) but you can bring your own towel and parasols, best spot is by the Lifeguard tower. Also a very good feature which is near the Lifeguard tower, is a disable/limited mobility access chair with a rail ramp that takes you straight into the water at 3ft deep. I must admit it's great to see such device on the beach, it shows that it is more inclusive, giving a greater level of access to the sea. There is a fresh water stream coming in the sea (middle if the beach) which can make the water feeling a little cooler at the surface but it's not a big deal, in fact I found it quite pleasant. On the left hand side of the beach waterfront, there is a place where you can hire pedalos, canoes and paddling board, see photos for the prices (2022). So in all, a lovely beach which has also a large selections of tavernas, shops, bakeries and a...
Read moreThe beach that gives you a different sunset every night. By day it's lapped by the crystal clear waters of The Mediterranean sea where fish sim within touching distance as you bathe and relax. The beach is lined with many sunbeds that cost around 10 euro for a set of 2 with an umbrella. You will be served by one of the staff from where the umbrellas and beds belong and they will bring you food and drink as long as you are there. The sandy beach is close to the waters edge which helps when the sand is hot. The many bars and restaurants line the front giving plenty of choice a mix of various dishes including traditional Greek cuisine. The beds are well spaced out for you to move them how you want throughout the day as the sun moves. The sunsets will give a lifetime...
