Efi Studios — Hotel in Paros Municipality

A perfect place for an escape from the bustle and noise of the big city. A white-washed Cycladic house with blue and green doors, windows and furniture, family-owned. Far enough from the road, very very quiet day and night. From time to time you only hear the cooing of a collar dove. ||Spotlessly clean rooms, thank you Vicky, sheets changed almost every day, tastefully arranged rooms, kitchenettes in our two rooms with everything necessary. Apart from that, Efi's mother, Ana, has a restaurant in the center of Drios village (a 5-minute walk), offering mainly Greek dishes and rated No 13 of 269 restaurants in Paros by TripAdvisor! Ana is a truly great chef, believe me! And try for yourself!||A lovely garden with enough chairs and tables for everybody and a big shade - we used to stay there in the hot afternoons and late evenings. There were very few mosquitoes even outside - but do take measures. Practically no mosquitoes in the rooms.||Location was perfect for us, but it is good to have your own means of transportation. The local buses are often overcrowded. Let me be of more help to possible visitors. Piso Livadi, where catamarans and other ships and boats depart for Santorini, Iraklia, Koufonissi, Amorgos, etc., is 7 minutes away by car. Pounta, where you get the ferry to Antiparos, is 25min away, Naoussa, where the ships to Mykonos depart, is 25min away, Parikia (Paros), the capital, where the big ferries are, is 30min away. The whole island can easily be covered in a day - the largest north-south distance is 30km, east-west is 20km.||As far as beaches are concerned, the small and nice local beach of Drios village is within a 5-minute walk, the best Paros beach, Chrissi Akti (Golden Coast), is a 5-minute drive away. Chrissi Akti is a sandy beach with no pebbles, shallow, great for children and for everybody. Both beaches offer nice views - also of Drionisi, the island of the village of Drios.||Paros itself being very beautiful and interesting, another great thing about it is that there are at least nine (!) other big Cycladic islands around that can be visited within a day: Mykonos (including Delos), Santorini, Naxos, Antiparos, Iraklia, Koufonissi, Amorgos, Serifos, Sifnos. We visited five (having already been to Santorini, Mykonos and Naxos). And Drios is a perfect spot to start your trip from. Most travel agents offering daily excursions from different Paros ports pick you up from the center of Drios (3 minutes away on foot), transfer included in price.||We spent 11 days at Efi's Studios and would always happily return, because the island offers many places to see and experience. This was one of our best vacations ever - in any country, irrespective of cost, duration, etc.! Hearty thanks to Efi,...

i will never never forget my stay at Efi Studios & Apartments...i first visited Dryos last summer and i was wondering if i could find a cosy, comfortable, and clean room to stay with my 4 members family..a very close friend told me about the rooms and i have to admit that a was very hesitate at the beggining until i finally arrived and i was surprized with the panorama view that the rooms had..Especially the 1st floor was amazing...Almost every day the cleaning staff cleans the rooms and gives you clean SHEETS and towels. Also they are equiped with big beds and sofas with aircondiotioning.I really enjoyed relaxing in the garden watching the kids playing and having a wonderfull glass of wine with my wife Nataly during the afternoons.||Τhe rooms are fully autonomous and we had the ability to cook because the rooms are fully equipped with oven and everything needed for daily cooking. We were feeling like it was our house. It is a family businness and thats why they take care the hole space and the facilities. According the prices are very reasonable and absolutely worth the money you spent.||Efi and Anna are the owners of the most wanted family restaurant in Drios with the most delicious foods according taste superiority. Viaje con mi mujer, llegamos a Paros en dia 26 de septiembre del 2013, ya habiamos decidido por Drios y el alojamiento tambien estabas decidido "Efi Studios & Apartments", no nos equivocamos...||Al arribo desde Atenas en ferry en el puerto de Paros encontramos que no era necesario tomar taxi, ya que hay micros que te llevan al bañeario de Drios si no me equivoco unos 2.50 euros el pasaje, el micro nos dejo en Drios, la terminal justo se ubica en la puerta del restaurante de Anna Vlachoyianni , la misma que administra Efi Studios & Apartments, al bajar nos recibio y nos hizo esperar un poco ya que estaba atareada por su pasion,la cocina, estaba junto a su ayudante ultimando algunos platos, luego de un rato breve cuando su ayudante se desocupo nos acompaño a nuestro apartamento que queda a trescientos metros del restaurante, el apartamento muy comodo, con heladera, una kichinette muy bien equipada con todos los elementos necesarios para la cocina, nosotros de todos modos no cocinamos salvo unos huevos duros, tambien dispone de cafetera, en fin muy bien equipado, sabanas y toallas impecables, un hermoso balcon con mesa y sillas, una cuerda con broches para tender ropa, en fin todo pensado para que nada falte, nosotros pagamos en temporada baja 25 euros la noche, y la verdad que es un precio inmejorable, frente a su restaurante se encuetran dos supermercados donde uno se puede surtir de todo lo necesario para sus desayunos, meriendas o cenas si tuvieran ganas de cocinar por ejemplo , los apartamentos disponen de WI FI gratuito para el uso de las computadoras , en fin todo lo necesario, el unico error que cometimos fue no alquilar algun vehiculo, sea auto o moto, para recorrer la isla de Paros, ya que Drios es muy pequeño tiene una playita hermosa de aguas transparentes y piso de pequeñas piedras de canto rodado, lo ideal para ir a la playa es llevar zapatillas de agua para los que tienen las plantas de los pies sensibles, esta playa se encuentra a unos 600 metros de los apartamentos y el camino es muy lindo de recorrer..||Un tema aparte es su restaurante, que se ve se trata de su verdadera pasion, cada dia prepara platos tipícos y caseros no usa la carta sino que sus comensales se acercan a su cocina y ella les va describiendo que hay de rico cada dia, mi mujer es vegetariana y siempre tuvo alternativas para comer muy bien,(una cena para dos puede costar unos 30 euros), ella es muy amable y bien dispuesta a todo, es nacida en Drios o sea que la conocen todos alli y continua con el restaurante que si no entendi mal era de su padre, detalles por ejemplo para el dia de nuestra partida ya habiamos sacado los pasajes del micro que nos llevaria al puerto, pero Anna al saber de nuestra partida nos quiso llevar personalmente al puerto , ya que ella iba hacia alli por la mañana ya que para perfeccionarse en lo suyo asiste a cursos de gastronomia y hoteleria....||En fin un lugar hermoso, pero para conocer la Isla de Paros, lo ideal es alquilar un vehiculo asi uno puede recorrer por ejemplo Parikia que es el centro, o Naoussa un hermoso paraje con todo lo que uno necesita para distenderse en vacaciones...||Luego de este comentario voy a subir fotografias del apartamento, del restaurante y de Anna...||Muchas gracias por todo Anna y esperemos regresar algun dia...||Atentamente:...
