Hotel Galini — Hotel in Patmos Municipality

Hotel Galini located in the center of Skala, the central village of Patmos island. Although it is only 4 minutes by foot from Skalas' central Square, it is located at the end of a small quiet street. It is a small Building with a central garden and corridors around with a view to the monastery.||The room was big enough for two persons, with a big bathroom and a small balcony.The air conditioning was excellent, it also has shutters and curtains. ||The room was very clean (In my opinion I put an excellent).||The communication with the owner and the staff was excellent from the booking time until our arrival, during our stay there and our departure. I would like to notice that during the check out the owners offer for free the room to us for almost a day until our ship arrive. They where very hospitable and close for helping us in our needs, which in my opinion it was in a very professional level. Because of those I feel very grateful. ||The location brings everything so near like the small harbor, the bus and taxi station, car and motorbike rental offices, the booking spots and the boats for the boat trips. ||It is also so near restaurants, supermarkets, drug stores and banks, the market place, coffee shops...

Small hotel at Skala. I visited it during November so it was not crowded. The owners were helpful and very friendly!!They helped us with everything we wanted! As it is really old, facilities are not renovated. Rooms are spacious with rustic decoration. As it was mostly cloudy there was a lack of hot water during the last two days of my visit. Breakfast was average hotel breakfast with nothing special or local, but still decent. Everyday cleaning service helped us keep the room clean. We experienced a cancelled ferry early on our last morning in Patmos. Within an hour, we had booked and were checking in to this fantastic family-run hotel in Skala. We had a wonderful stay - the rooms are traditional, homely and spotless. The hotel is just a minute or two from the port but in a quiet corner of the town.
