Mariza’s Guest House — Hotel in Skiathos Municipality

We lay an eye on Mariza’s Studios on booking.com when we were planning our trip to Skiathos. We were sold by the description, the looks of the apartment and the facilities. |Mariza’s studios it’s family owned and run and it’s a block of 6 apartments if I understood well. It’s located on the north edge of Skiathos town near the road to the beaches and the buss station and even a big supermarket.It’s 5 minutes walk to the center of Skiathos town. The neighborhood is very quite so you have the proximity of the town and the restaurants and bars in walking distance but you skip the noise.||Our flat was just amazing. Newly bild,clean and fresh and beautifully decorated. It had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a kitchen connected to the living room and two huge verandas. On the one side you have the view of the town and a glimpse of the sea and from the other side the hill with olive tree plantation. The apartment is really cozy and has a lot of facilities that made our stay very comfortable. A fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, coffee maker, water boiler, a Nespresso machine, juice maker etc. there is also a washing machine. |We were unlucky with the weather in|Skiathos since it was raining the first 2 days so it was great to be able to feel cozy indoors and be able to fix dinner. The owner are very kind and hospitable. They picked us from the port and even gave us fresh eggs from their hens.|The price was undoubtedly very good for what they provide. |A great option for accommodation...

I thought I would leave a review despite not having visited. I wanted to comment on how responsive the host was. He quickly answered all our questions and sent additional pictures. I had spent quite a few days looking for that perfect spot near the town and I do feel that this house offered the most. It is large with 2 bathrooms which is rare, the reviews are glowing, it is a bit removed from the crowds yet a short walk to the center. We had booked this lovely house but our plans changed and we could no longer visit Skiathos. I thought I would share as I know my family of 4 would have been very happy...

I stayed here for two weeks. I have stayed in many, many places in Skiathos over the last 20 years and this is up there as one of the best. The apartment was very well equipped and had a massive comfortable bed. It’s family run and they are very welcoming and friendly. It was kept spotlessly clean throughout my stay. It’s an easy walk to town and close to bus stop three, but really peaceful. The father collected and dropped me at the airport, which was really appreciated. A fantastic place to stay. Will definitely stay again when I return...
