Ouzeri "To Kalo Pigadi" is 2 minutes walk from my apartment so it was convenient for a lunch or evening meal. When I went for lunch it was frequented by locals, a good sign. It's possibly the most authentically Greek taverna I ate in all week. But evenings it seemed closed as far as I could gather. However there are plenty of other eateries open nearby, within minutes. Prices seemed reasonable - I paid 26 euros for lovely fresh Greek bread, a larger than usual portion of taramasalata with pita, a plate of freshly boiled shrimps, a large beer (very well priced at 4 euros) and half a litre of Retsina. Read moreKalo Pigadi, YOU have to go! Amazing sea food and the most hospitable, kind and smiling hosts, even under high pressure and at 45°C!! It is located in the heart of Skiathos town, in a quite area. Since we visited it, we kept going almost every day during our vacation. It is better to put all the dishes in the middle of the table, to share and taste everything. We loved the cheese balls with the home made marmalade (different every time), the salmon balls and all kinds of fish, the boiled vegetables and of course the Greek salad. And the prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend it...
