Asprolithos — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

These studios look lovely on their website but staying there for a week was a different story.||Firstly the only communication we had with the owner Maria was speaking to her on the phone on day of arrival & this was only because the cleaner happened to be on the phone to her when we arrived. There was a small reception area in the hallway which wasn't manned. We didn't see anybody there from the moment we arrived until the date we left 1 week later!||Room appeared OK at first but then found the shower cubicle (which was tiny) leaked badly as cubicle not sealed properly resulting in water all over the floor. Had to put towels on the floor to mop it up every day!||My husband then discovered the plug in the bathroom sink didn't work so he couldn't have a shave. No plug in kitchen sink either so unable to wash up.||Room was right above the taverna kitchen so incredibly hot & noisy. Air conditioning in room had been set at 18 & not able to turn it down so very uncomfortable especially at night.||Towels replaced daily but had a musty damp smell about them & hard as bullets.||All in all these rooms are not the luxurious apartments they are advertised as. We have stayed in cheaper rooms in Skiathos over the years which have been much nicer. We will definitely not be...

Recently returned from a 12 night stay. I must say this was the worst experience I have ever had in Skiathos. Unfortunately the original trip had been delayed due to covid. I was put in a room that was above a kitchen that was extremely noisy. On top of that the fridge in the room was so noisy it had to be turned off as I just could not tolerate the noise. The tv that was in the room was impossible to use. When I highlighted this problem I was told only 1 channel could be found? There was no point in trying to eat in the room as you couldn’t wash anything up! The water pressure was dreadful only dripping out! The pluses and their were some… clean towels on a regular basis, sheets changed regularly and a very friendly receptionist. The owner of these studios needs to up their game. There are so many other places on the island at far better quality for the prices charged. Room size ok for one but a couple would struggle.
