Very nice apartments with an awesome view of Skiathos Town at the very top of a hill in the town center between the harbour and Megali Ammos Beach. Only downside is a very steep hill to reach it so a taxi at around €10 is recommended on arrival with your luggage. However, I did find an alternate less steep route into the town center from the backside which was reasonably walkable. A lovely place! We were happy with the room and the owner, Cristos, was very helpful and kind. He even helped us with a medical emergency and was available on the phone all the time. The pension is on top of a hill but it was totally worth it because the street is quiet and the view is amazing. It's also very close to the city centre (many cute tiny streets to choose from for the way down) and the port bus stop which will take you to the beaches. We would love to come back one day! La nostra peggior esperienza con un host. Avevamo prenotato tramite airbnb una stanza ma al nostro arrivo abbiamo ricevuto un’alloggio diverso, più piccolo e in pessime condizioni. La pulizia totalmente inesistente, polvere e ruggine un pò ovunque. Il bagno non ha l’aeratore ne’ finestre, il lavandino è parecchio arrugginito e la pressione dell’acqua è al minimo e il soffione della doccia si flette in un attimo ed è difficile lavarsi. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato delle formiche sul mini frigo. La vista che viene ampiamente promossa dall’host c’è solo in una stanza e non è detto che vi venga assegnata, la posizione è estremamente scomoda poiché in cima a varie salite e in una zona periferica non particolarmente carina. Abbiamo deciso di lasciare la stanza prima di sapere se potevamo ricevere un rimborso prenotando a nostre spese un altro alloggio, per fortuna Airbnb ci ha rimborsato più di metà della spesa dopo aver valutato le foto e i video che gli abbiamo inviato. Per concludere, dopo aver recensito la struttura sulla piattaforma in questione abbiamo ricevuto una recensione diffamante dove ci diceva che avevamo programmato tutto con delle foto false, per la cronaca la recensione a nostro carico è stata cancellata perché non era idonea e non rispettava la verità, comunque abbiamo notato che durante la settimana dal 5 al 9 agosto le altre recensioni erano dello stesso tono. Alleghiamo foto di ciò che abbiamo trovato. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è estremamente a sfavore...
