The reservation was made through Booking. We were accommodated on a basement floor, which was not mentioned in the listing at the time of booking, and the photos did not match either. The relevant description about the basement was only added on Booking after we expressed our dissatisfaction with the accommodation. What was supposed to be a veranda for the room was actually a platform below street level at a busy intersection—we were expecting a car to park right next to us.||At night, it was impossible to sleep with the door open because it was practically accessible from the street and didn’t feel safe. During the day, car exhaust fumes from the intersection were in our faces—we couldn’t even enjoy a cup of coffee peacefully.||The room was smaller than described, with barely enough space to move around or use the kitchenette for small snacks or fruits. The bathroom couldn't drain the water properly when using the large showerhead, and the water would spill into the room. On the second day, the air conditioning was turned off in our room.||Given all this, we felt terrible. The receptionist was extremely rude. The staff and the owner completely refused to move us to a more suitable room. They made a humiliating offer at 7 PM on the second day, suggesting that we move to another hotel before 11 AM on the third day—if we could find one ourselves—while still charging us more than half of the prepaid amount for the 6-night stay for just two nights.||The place does not match the description, and this is unacceptable. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The parking is improvised and insufficient...
Read moreThe rooms are very clean, very well made and very stylish. It's obvious that a lot of attention have been put on every detail and aspect of the room. Me and my wife stayed on one of the rooms that had a balcony facing the back yard. The sun was only catching the balcony in the morning. After noon it was always in shade so you could go out and chill, eat, drink, smoke etc. At night also the back yard balcony was very quiet and relaxing. In General the rooms are placed in a quiet part of the town 5-10 min walk from the center The rooms didn't had private parking. There is a public road right in front that you can park if you find space. After 17:00 - 18:00 in the afternoon usually you can't find space to park. That's not a major problem because 50-100 meters away there is a free public parking area that you can park. It lacks some lights, as it can get dark at night but you can allways park there. You just won't have your car right in frond of the room. I can understand that this may be a problem for some. Limenario proved to be a good base for exploring thasos. Vasilis and Maria where very kind and helpfull, allways ready to assist us in what ever we needed. When we visit thasos again it will be a pleasure to stay to Estian...
Read moreThis place is a good choice to stay if you wish comfortable and clean rooms, close to the beach and tavernas. Vasilis and Maria are good hosts and very welcoming! The garbage was taken daily and bed linen and towels were changed every 3 days. Lovely balcony on the street, you have where to dry your clothes, in the kitchen you have main stuff but dish washer and sponge are missing, for example. We had only 1 tall and 1 short chair but I am sure that they would have given us another ones if we'd asked, we just didn't need extra. Air conditioning is working great. You can park either in front of the building, or in the nearby free parking space. We recommend and would stay again here! Big plus - the building is already on the side of the beach, you don't have to cross the main street to get to the beach &...
