On Wednesday morning we left Athens, and later that day we arrived here. The room assigned to us was better than expected, which truly was wonderful. I liked that little piece of paper containing the breakfast options for the following morning. I've tried that at home as well, but with little to no success. The breakfast itself was very good, sure, but those options on the paper.. they were something else. It's obvious at this point, I must return cause I need that paper in my life. No matter the state in which we left the room in the morning, everything was cleaned and arranged to perfection on our return. Either that, either the Tsipouro drinks blinded us, who knows? The little yard is not only nice to look at, but also very good for a little nap if you had one to many Mythos beers mixed with grapes and tzatziki, and can't find your room. The host (Maria and her mother) were very joyful and kind. I might also add that Maria is very beautiful, but I shouldn't do that because this will be the end of me. Well, I had a good run, see ya' The stay was so good that a local baby lizard kept trying to get in. I told her no 2 times, but since she didn't take no for an answer, I invited her in and all 3 of us had a late supper. We received a bottle of wine at the end of our stay, but I guess that happened because it was clear like night and day for our host that my girlfriend likes to drink, oh snap :) Value for money, is it there? My girlfriend has ups and down, so it's questionable. As for the accommodation, yes, it's there, Limenaria 640 02, you...
Read moreLa Pierre is not your ordinary place to stay. I have never experienced such hospitality before — as soon as we arrived I felt like I was entering my home: the room was supreme and cozy, clean and spacious, with everything one may need. The bed was even better than my own bed at home, and the pillow was a dream come true! But the most outstanding was the warm welcome from the family, their full assistance about practicalities, such as restaurant recommendations, information about the surroundings and places to visit, as well the friendly chat every time we met, regardless how busy they may have been. As for the location of La Pierre, I believe it is situated perfectly — very close to the beach and the seaside with all the attractions, shops and restaurants, and at the same time far enough to let you escape from the noise and overpopulated area. As soon as I get a chance to visit Thassos again, I will not hesitate to book a room at La Pierre. And you will not regret...
Read moreI booked the vacation in Thassos, after I saw the pictures of this location. The rooms are exactly like in the pictures. It's spotless clean, with great breakfast, served in your balcony by the host (you choose every day what you want to eat-you have a great variety to choose from, and also the time you want to serve your breakfast). The hostes are great, very friendly and kind. They recommended great places to eat and visit (including beaches and site seeing). The WiFi was great. It included very good AC. The bed has very good mattress and I slept like a baby. The linens are from coco-mat, and they are very high quality. The small kitchenette, provides everything you need. The location is in a very nice location, about 3 min walking from the center of Limenaria. I will definitely come back. All the best, from Adela & Alex (P. S. The pictures are made,...
