Stayed 6 days during mid August and payed 105€/night including breakfast for a room with a view to the sea.||||* Nice location and nice view to the sea if you get one of the rooms overlooking the beach. However, the balcony railing is a bit too high and bulky obstructing a bit the view when you are seated.||* Cleanliness was certainly a plus: the room was cleaned up daily and towels were changed as well. Everything was left tidy and nice.||* Staff was friendly and helpful.||* Rooms were renovated but they lacked the finishing that would justify such a high price. Besides, they were not that big.||* The breakfast was nice and had a variety, BUT if you wanted a coffee prepared by the machine, i.e., any kind of espresso, cappuccino etc. you had to pay extra! Guys, are you serious with that? How much would it cost you to offer this kind of coffee for two hours every day to your guests as part of their breakfast? So, practically, if you didn't want to drink greek coffee or frappé, you had to pay an average 3.50€ extra for your coffee. Given the standard tariff of breakfast of 10€/person, the breakfast with two cappuccinos for a couple would cost 27€! Come on!||* To those visiting by car (practically everyone), the parking situation in the area especially during the high season of August and the beach's "rush hours" is AWFUL. You have to have some luck to get a decent parking place. Of course, that's not the fault of the hotel, but I believe it should have been taken into account when setting the price of the room.||||Overall, the hotel is above average, certainly. A couple of improvements + a lower price would make it quite a...
Read moreVisiting Thessaloniki area, a must to visit was Pelion - “where the mountain kisses the sea”, during the Easter break. With the intention for 1 night in Aggios Ioanis we stayed 3, in order to see as much as we can in the beautiful area. We choose Kelly hotel after we compare with other 3 , having in view the beach in front, the interior design and cleanliness.|The breakfast is à la carte, most hotelier style, but they are opened at suggestions, like every greek host which want to please guests when possible. I would appreciate fresh fruits, fresh juices, local products, home made especially. The room and bathroom are comfortable, clean and stylish (recently renewed I understood) . Quality material for Windows , nice terrace. The next door church , is ringing the bell in the morning, but only persons with sensitive sleep hear this. For this spring break was very a very quiet area. Probably in summertime is crowded and difficult to...
Read moreFamily trip for vacation. Location is about perfect. Still during August parking was not the case (I believe for all tourists there). You could find a place about 100mt up the hill, probably after St. Nektarios small chapel. Breakfast is not perfect as advertised, not at all. It is a decent, simple breakfast, and try to avoid cheese pie as it is always cold and probably previous day. Internet has issues, still it is working really good in the lobby and at the beach, rooms have problems (at least our room). No television for the whole 6 days period and no one could fix the issue. As said that was a common issue for both floors. Staff is very friendly, all of them. Maria that operates the hotel's beach and sea front beds etc, is amazing and servicing all...
