Matzato Ξενοδοχείο Ζαγοροχώρια — Hotel in Zagori Municipality

We stayed 2 nights here, Nov 12-13 driving down from Meteora. Excellent location in Monodendri, easy for drives to enjoy the beautiful Vikos canyon and the Zagori villages. We could easily drive off to Nafplio in Peloponnese after the visit here.||Spacious apartment up a flight of stairs, room has kitchen facilities and a balcony||Breakfast was pretty tasteless, though the girl was very sweet...

We ended up in this hotel by chance, and man was that a great surprise :)||||Hotel is clean, beautiful and with an amazing view from the nice balcony we had in our room. Breakfast was probably the best one we had in our entire trip to Greece (will just say that Belguim waffles was part of it..) !||And the host was such a nice and welcoming lady.. Highly...

We used it as a base for our visit to Zagoria. The rooms are spacious and clean. We did not use the kitchen. Good location with wonderful views and many places to visit in beautiful Zagoria: Vikos Gorge, Vradeto steps, old stone bridges,...
