Le petit cafe & Restaurant (by Arktouros hotel ) — Restaurant in Zagori Municipality

While staying at the romantic Arktouros Hotel in Monodendri, my wife and I had dinner at their in-house restaurant, "Le Petit Cafe".

Courtesy of an Italian family connection, they offer a change from the usual Greek cuisine, with pasta and pizza dishes.

We shared a Zagori pie, followed by risotto with truffle oil and mushrooms, and a Caprese salad (burrata, pesto, tomato). Delicious.

We had dinner at Le Petit Cafe after a long day of hiking. We were craving for some Italian food as a change from Greek cuisine. We didn’t expect to have some of the best pasta we’ve had in a long time. The tagliatelle with salmon and the pasta bolognese were both fantastic. You can really taste the Italian roots of the cook! The place itself is beautiful and has a pleasant atmosphere, and the service is excellent and attentive. Unfortunately, the food does not meet the standard. The pizza, pasta, and ravioli were bland and failed to impress, and the only good dish was the Greek salad. Also, the photos do not reflect reality at all. In summary – I highly recommend enjoying the design and service, but not coming here...
