In&Out Hotel — Hotel in Guatemala City

This hotel was an absolute NIGHTMARE! A filthy, noisy, and completely unprofessional disaster. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy!

First, the garden is overrun with FLEAS. Just walking outside meant taking those disgusting pests home with me, and I had to fight to get rid of them. OUTRAGEOUS! Then there’s the unbearable noise—the outer rooms are constantly filled with loud disturbances, making sleep IMPOSSIBLE. And room 107? A HORRIFIC DUNGEON of mold, humidity, and an unbearable stench that made me feel sick just stepping inside. How can they even rent out a room in such conditions?!

But the worst part—the absolute INSULT—was the administrator, MARTHA. Not only was she completely unprofessional, but she took it to another level by USING MY PERSONAL INFORMATION to harass me on social media just because I left a bad review. Unbelievable! On top of that, the hotel’s staff constantly intimidate each other, creating a toxic and hostile atmosphere. And the noise from the ground-floor rooms at night? A deafening, endless blaring sound that made every night miserable.

This was beyond a bad stay—it was a total NIGHTMARE. No one should have to go...

I reserved two rooms and paid in advance through Expedia. When we arrived, one of the rooms was much smaller than what I’d paid for—two double beds instead of two queens. The person at the desk knew nothing and we were tired, so I waited until morning to address the issue. I was told that there was a plumbing problem with one of the rooms I reserved and the smaller room was the only option. I asked about the price difference and was told that the rooms were the same price. A look at any booking site makes that lie obvious.||Strike two was with parking. When we arrived, they had no parking available. They told us to park in a nearby lot and they would reimburse us. They didn’t tell us that we had to retrieve the car by 6am—when we went to get the car at 7am, the price was much higher and the hotel would only reimburse 1/3 of the cost.||The hotel is pretty noisy, and the rooms stuffy unless you open the windows, which lets in the noise. ||On the plus side, the WiFi was good, the shower was hot, and the beds reasonably comfortable. However, their petty dishonesty erased...

Great experience, included breakfast was really good and the coffee was awesome.

From the get go, every single reception staff was outstandingly polite and helpful, and all of the breakfast/cleaning staff were caring and attentive.

I don't know about other rooms, but there was no a/c in mine. It didn't matter as the cold weather made one just want to burrow into the bed; I will say I wasn't uncomfortable at any point during my stay. There are hot showers, and one can pay go have meals made a la carte. I can't comment on the quality of these as I never tried them, but if they are as good as the breakfast then they must be delicious. Overall a great experience, and will definitely be back.

One detail to notice is that the (free) airport shuttle isn't free. But it was cheap enough to not knock off a star. This hotel is extremely close to the airport, so do keep that detail in mind when booking (Noise, but I didn't hear any of it...
