Laguna Sky — Hotel in Guatemala City

We had a room that was to be with a private bathroom.. No it was across the hall. She didn't tell us that was our at first it was the common area bathroom but one I showed her the booking.. It but was ours?? Then the room that we had,had a window that didn't close. It was over the stairway so as the most came in. So after we told her we wanted to cancel she moved it's too a different room but had to pay an additional amount of 25q. I'm not sure who gave there's ratings on here but man it's a joke. The room were now was in had mold in it.. mosquitoes. The place was noisy all night.. With people being loud and slamming doors. Hmm It place isn't worth the price or the hassle. Got up thinking we are least have a good breakfast, nope. It was cold pancakes. I guess they microwave didn't work. Go across the street to the other hostel.. Much.. Much better. We stayed there the first time we was in the city....

I'm here with my daughters and 2 pets. It's a cool hotel. The staff is so nice and accommodating. It's safe and by amazing stores! I'm actually using my daughters phone to give a review. Because I can't seem to get to their page from my phone. I'm Tracy!

But I'm very comfy here. I recommend this place to many more travelers!

2 nights a week I work late hrs as a trauma counselor and I'm on call with clients via phone and my laptop in Europe and the United States while I travel with my girls. It's a headache so fresh air and privacy is good when we stay at hotels in between our longer trips at Airbnb's.

So being able to sit downstairs in the lobby or my car in the secure garage is perfect for me! Lots of privacy and sometimes long waits in between trauma calls and I may dose off! So I'm thankful to feel so at home and make money here while traveling. We feel good here and it's a good...

The nice thing about this place is that it's close to the airport and there's a cute little dog. The room we got was full of mold, when we asked if they have another room without mold they said of course... And we got another room full of mold. The bathroom had some fungi growing on the walls. I'd really like to give a better rating since they appeared to be friendly but the lady asked me to cancel my reservation if we wanted to move rooms (so I couldn't write a review on booking.com) so that was a bummer. And the breakfast was nothing like in the pictures, was semi cold...
